Murphy may just need to bulk up and get himself used to the speed and strength of the NFL game, I wouldn't call him a disappointment just yet. But Thomas has been a welcome surprise, this OL is young and talented and I can't wait to see what they can do with a few games and some chemistry under their belt.

Really hoped McKinney could stick as a backup at least. Trusting a rookie G without a hardy vet backup like McKinney is usually a recipe for disaster. Unless he really doesn't have anything left in the tank, he shouldn't have been cut.

I believe the FO has someone in mind because this line needs depth and wouldn't cut a player without another player in mind.

I would love having Bently come in, but it would surprise me to cut McKinney with the sole-purpose of bringing him in.
I would imagine Parsnips/Sporano arent above doing a PUP much like the Patriots, or that there must have been somebody farther down the list than McKinney.
I really think whether or not they already have somebody in mind for this spot, McKinney just wasnt good enough to make the team -

Yeah, this screams of "not healthy" more than ability...if the man isn't or can't be in there, he can't compete...

I was a bit surprised when i heard of this move on the radio this afternoon. With our lack of depth along the line, I thought he was a lock to make it for sure. Not the best in the league, but definitely serviceable as a backup

i don't like that 7's time either but as long as we don't use him at wr he is still better than "mooseknuckles 2." we will still probly see another vet picked up for depth alone.
