Here's one for Lbersfinest.
My hope their wrong meter is only about a 2 out of 10 but a hard turn around would be nice. I'm now predicting 4 wins maybe, what a awful feeling.

If their criteria is playoffs or no playoffs I'd have to agree. Miami is in a tough division and is way behind the 8 ball. Their schedule will get tougher and the pressure will only increase.
I'd say playoffs are HIGHLY unlikely.xphinfanx likes this. -

we're like 1.5 games out of a spot and the supposed tough teams later this yr eagles, ravens, cowboys w/o romo, and texans are not that tough as 1st thought. we're still a long shot, but I wouldn't be extremely shocked if we won a playoff spot.

The AFCS and NFCE are bad divisions, Baltimore and SD are both winnable games. Win 6 of those 9, split the remainder of the AFCE games and you're looking at 9-7. Not likely, but doable. -
This team is 1-3 against what was suppose to be the easy part of their schedule and will likely be 1-4 after they play this Sunday.
They will be fortunate to finish 5-11 this year and I don't see any 5-11 teams making the playoffs.
To me the rest of this season is about determining who the head coach will be in 2016 and which players Tannebaum and the new head coach want to keep to build this team around starting next year. -

Why? Because the are that bad?
Namaste. -
In the unlikely event that you`re serious, no not linebackers. He was referring to LB`sFinest - a poster here that lives and breathes negativity. I`m pretty much a pessimistic optimist myself ( is that even possible ?), but LB`s negative take on this team is second to none.xphinfanx and yogi superstar like this. -
Seems like we've gone from vastly over rating the Fins to vastly underrating them.
One win is what they need. Get some positive vibe in the locker room and take it from there. The schedule is nowhere near as tough as it once looked, not a chance in hell they lose 12 games IMO.yogi superstar likes this. -
I'll drink to that! :drink:

so because he was negative while everything had yet to be determined doesnt make him negative, it makes him someone who felt a certain way about certain things and wound up being right. -
The difference is some of us are actually crazy enough to believe in this team sometimes. I'm often "wrong" when it comes to this team because I root for players to succeed even if deep down I don't think they will.PhinFan1968 and USArmyFinFan like this. -

But at least we used to go the playoffs regularly back then.
The 2000s and so far 2010s have been lost decades for us fans.

Dolphins looking up at all 3 division rivals and have lost 2 home games vs the 2 lesser foes. It really doesn't look good

Team wins 7 or 8 games, is generally mediocre, he says Ireland sucks, OK. That means the coaching staff is doing well if they can win 8 games with a roster that sucks. Ireland leaves. Team still wins 7-8 games. Then he says the coaching staff sucks. The roster must have 9-11 win potential if they win 7-8 games with a coaching staff that sucks. When you put it all together it makes zero sense.
Basically the guy calls any and everyone an idiot. No doubt he is provacative and entertaining but let's pump the brakes on saying he's right about anything. -
Hmm so what? My feelins' aren't hurt. We deserve to be on such a list.

I know he didn't like Ireland, I know he didn't like Philbin, from the get, I know he said this team the past few years would not make the playoffs, I know he said we'd choke the last two..I know he thought we'd be below average this year..
I mean if a person feels this way about the front office and they feel they have a pulse on how bad they are then theres no possible way for them to be positive, that would mean he's a complete homer, and I know that's not the case..
I think he's proved enough on the record amidst mostly everyone being happy while he was being negative to gain some respect..
He's goes about analyzing the team differently, rooting differently, but I don't question is passion for the team, and if you have that the I can deal with many personalities..
Let me ask you this what did you disagree with him on that hasn't come true? -
