I dig the louvers.

For me that looks nothing like a classic muscle car though. Maybe if it were in some kind of black or bad*** gray but off blue? Just doesnt fit the car IMO.

No neon under the car? :pity:

neat car but i don't know if i'd pay 70 for it. i'd probably get an S5, put the $15k in savings into wheels, suspension, and motor........ or find a used R8 :D

Plus you're getting a serial #1 limited edition car. Ever watch the auctions and see what cars like that go for a few years down the road?
For the same price as a Z06 Vette you get a car with 300 more horses. -
ah, i see.... you're just speaking of collector value or horsepower?
i have to admit i'm less attracted to ridiculous horsepower figures than i was a few years ago. the reality is i rarely - if ever - got to use most of them (the horsies), you know? as far as blowing doors off - i guess it depends on what track you go to. the two cars i listed aren't built for drags.... but they'd probably hand a defeat to the stang at the Nordschleife.
if you're talking from a collector's standpoint regarding this car - yeah, can't argue with you.
if you're talking from a "if you had $70k to spend, what would you buy" standpoint, i think i'd go a different direction. just the "different strokes" idiom really. i do like that color though, and i'd take that original 70's model you posted any day of the week.Stitches likes this. -

you know pagan, this is weird, but with me and american cars? the 80's were IT.
i mean i love the 60's and 70's - close seconds. but i absolutely ADORE 80's american cars. the biggest crap that this country has ever produced? i love.
some of my favorite american cars that i will own in my collector garage:
* GMC Syclone/Typhoon
* Grand National
* Olds Cutlass Supreme, V8 (mid 80's - the hurst edition with t-tops would be just fine)
* Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (i could do the 1990 version with one-piece headlights & clear tails)
* Ford Taurus SHO (1st gen)
* Dodge Omni Turbo
* Dodge Caravan Turbo (1st gen caravan. i want in baby blue with wood sides!)
these cars will be collectors cars 20 years from now. :D
(i'd like the old boss 402's, chevelle ss's, etc.... but those are too expensive. right now i can afford the above list.) -

I really like that color. I remember the original.
But yeah, those rims are pretty ghetto for the price. A set of blacks would have worked off the trim color well. There's NO other chrome on the car besides those fugly rims...doesn't look right at all.
And hey, Paisan - I'm a Z man myself, but the musclers were my first love. :wink2: -
