At the very least, the guy gets points for honesty and protecting his teammates. I like the way he clarifies the issue "You have to make the plays that are there. Even if he is open once the whole game....I have to make that throw".
We all know Wallace's issues all too well and Ryan didn't even hint at them. When asked if recievers should fight more for the ball he responds "Well it's tough for them (recievers) on those long throws...they have to wait on it, wait on it...and they (coverage) catch up. That's all on the QB." This guy is a class act.
