Guess the financials have been agreed too, just getting "wording" corrected?

Nothing on PFT about it yet. Twitter down, of course. Nothing on FH and they usually have this stuff within seconds.

Twitter is down at the perfect time

with twitter down i feel like i'm in the stone age... i've heard nothing about THill

I know right. We don't have dozens of "sources" we never heard of to break the news to us. -
Yeah, haven't seen anything yet about Tanne signing.

And I was apparently mistaken about Stephon Gilmore's contract. His contract includes offset language. To my knowledge, he and Dontari Poe are the only ones. I've heard reference to Whitney Mercilus having offset language but I'm not sure that makes sense because he was picked so low, the players around him aren't generally getting guaranteed fourth year salaries anyway, which kind of makes the offset language issue a moot point.

Yeah I think it would have made news.
Besides, the amount of money was never in question. The problem from the start has been the "wording".finyank13 likes this. -

per rotoworld we have signed eric steinbach, you are right CK, jake scott must be still injured

chiefs have signed poe to a 4 year deal via PFT, offset language is included

It gives the team a little more to stand on IMO... -
I dont see how a player could actually justify not having offset language in their contract. If they suck enough to be cut in the first 4 years of their deal... while being a 1st round pick (top 10 pick to boot) and getting every opportunity and 2nd/3rd/4th chances to succeed… then there is no logical explanation for why they deserve to continue getting paid the team that cut them...

However, that is obviously never going to happen in reality. -
There is no right or wrong in this matter. Its a negotiation.
