Great news! So happy for him.

DAVIE

Ryan Tannehill’s knee injury was not as severe as the Dolphins initially feared, and further examination revealed there is no tear in his ACL. Instead, the team believes he has a sprained ACL and MCL in his left knee.

“It’s an ACL and MCL sprain, so we’re still going through that process,” coach Adam Gase said. “I was happy for him.”

Gase said it was too early to determine whether Tannehill might come back this season. It’s a near-certainty, though, that Miami will go with back-up Matt Moore in Saturday’s game at the Jets.

Wow, that is a real relief. If it had been a torn ACL, it might have sidelined him for most of next season too. This is a LOT better.

When he went down I felt like the Hillary supports on election night. With this news I feel like a Trump supporter on election night. What a wide swing of emotions.

Holy fucking shit. Torn ACL had like 95% success in diagnoses. Only this tough mother fucker would be that 5%

Great news!!! NOW LETS WIN SATURDAY!!! IMAGINE THE COMEBACK STORY!?!?!?!?

What does this mean for the rest of it this season? Will he still miss the remaining games?

Ryan Tannehill you are not human. Playing devil's advocate, what percentage of healthy would RT have to be for you to start him week 17 if a win was needed for the Dolphins to make the playoffs?

They don't know yet, it'll probably depend on how his rehab goes. Knowing how Gase likes to deal with injuries, I'd guess- barring a miracle recovery- he does not play the rest of the season. If we make the playoffs, maybe it's a possibility.

God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive...
