Tannenbaum - His name means 'Christmas Tree' in German.

Is he the gift that keeps on giving or is he dead wood that should have been left outside but now will drop needles all over the carpet that'll take years to get out?

    Your thoughts?

I think we should just fast forward the tape and clean house now. Trust me, I know how this story ends.

The poll should probably be, who's worse, Tannenbaum or Ross.

So we are dropping back in the first round of the draft because we wanted Kiko and Byron? From 8th to 13th overall? :death:

More likely than not, Dolphins management saw league interest developing around the player they coveted, and knew he wouldn't be available at 8. Dropping five spots provides an enormous amount of upside, having acquired two low risk/high reward starters for a combined 9 million (with an easy out worked into Maxwell's contract) and the potential to land one of Ezekiel Elliott, Ronnie Stanley, Vadal Alexander, A'Shawn Robinson, Reggie Ragland, Leonard Floyd, Mackensie Alexander, or Eli Apple. This is a savvy move, even if Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell don't return to their respective 2013 forms, because they will almost certainly be better than what we saw out of Kelvin Sheppard and Brice McCain.

Ehh, it lessens the risk in a risky group, imo. Leonard Floyd would be pretty sweet at 13. Maybe Hargreaves drops. Somebody is gonna fall, but I have seen too many mocks to know that the talent level plateaus well into the third round.

I don't think we need a poll for that (or at least I hope not!). Ross wins hands down.

I guess waiting till after the draft to judge our off season would be a completely unrealistic thing to do.....right?

I don't think anyone is judging the entire offseason right now, just the moves we've made so far.

Besides, after the draft we'll again hear we should wait 3 years before judging draft picks.

Yeah I meant Ross wins in a competition of who's worse (Ross is I think hands down worse).

Anyway, egg came first (you can get a chicken egg from parents that aren't chickens, but I see no way to get a chicken from anything other than a chicken egg, at least naturally.. though I guess you could have all the mutations occur after the egg is created haha).

    ergo.. Ross = egg.

Or we could have a great player drop in the draft and miss out. I seem to remember Earl Thomas and Randy Moss dropping in drafts that we decided to trade down in. I don't buy that we know who would be there at 8 or not, I mean we are talking about us literally knowing each teams draft board and we know that isn't a real thing.

Big O told a funny story on the radio today. He was on a plane with Tannenbaum once and guess what Tannenbaum spent the entire time reading during the flight...Mel Kiper's draft guide. Lol.
