Updates
You'll want to make sure you periodically check for updates to Tapatalk. It is updated quite frequently and bugs are patched asap.
Updates for iPhone can be found at the App Store.
For Android, click the Market icon on your phone and choose My Downloads. You will be informed if an update is available. -
So, which versions pf the Crackberry is this going to work on?
One huge dowfall of viewing this site via my phone is I don't see any graphics. Are you telling me that will change with tapatalk? -
Technically, we 'could' make it so that you see the full version of the site from your Blackberry. But it's probably going to be painfully slow and not very user-friendly. As you can see, Tapatalk is the solution to that.
No word on which Blackberries will be supported. I would assume many of the newer models will. They're targeting the first week of February for the first beta release. -
Right, I understand why you guys chose to make the mobile version "Graphically challenged" but it is frustrating at times.
Is that 2.99 a one time charge or will ATT charge it every month?
Thanks for all you guys/gals do btw. -
One-time charge.
Seems to have gotten a very good response from the membership thus far.
And yes, it makes it much easier to view the threads in the Ladies Lounge. ;) -
Looks pretty interesting. One question: what are the benefits of using Tapatalk over the HTML version of the site? Are we looking at faster navigation, less loading time, no ads, things of a technical nature like that?
-
We've had it running for about 3 months now. Pretty solid app. -
Thanks for having the feature available. Always wondered what the forums would look like in a more iPhone-optimized configuration. -
I just updated the forum.
Try it now. :) -
It will serve you well. :shifty: -

Just poked through the iTunes App Store and noticed a free, read-only version of Tapatalk available. Like the name suggests, you can't post with it, but you can use it as a sort of demo to see what the app is like.
Personally, I just coughed up the money for the full version. 3 bucks, pfft. Though I do admit I think the Android version has much better UI. I'm a little envious. -
They upgrade pretty regularly so you'll want to make sure you check in. Android users should be on v1.2.4. iPhone is currently at 1.6.1.
The UI indeed looks better on Android right now. But the app came to Apple products first and is therefore is much more mature over there functionality wise.
In the next couple of weeks, there will be updates for Android to bridge that gap a bit by adding image uploads, search, mark forums read along with the usual UI/performance enhancements. Notification of new PM's also coming.
Also FYI - the free beta version for Android will become read-only at the end of February. You'll need to throw down the whopping $2.99 for Pro if you want to be able to post and such. -

I put in my info to buy taps talk, but it seems like it didn't go through. How do I check it
-
Seriously, beyond that.....what are you running (Android, iPhone)? -
Now when I log on it says it can be used with tapatalk, but when I click on it, it says not found in market.....
-
Since the new stuff, I can't log in to tap a talk
-
Make sure your Tapatalk client is up to date.
They issue updates almost weekly. If you're on Android, the latest version of Android market lets you set it to automatically do so.
Give that a try.

I thought you meant since we upgraded the forum (in November).
You have to re-add the site because the forums URL has changed. No more subdomain. -
same thing with me. all this integration can be a pain when it fails, but when it works it is awesome
you guys are doing a great job -
How come its not available for my blackberry?
-
Try the following link in your BlackBerry: http://tapatalk.com/bb/ -
-
The betas are typically free/full.

Which version of VBulletin are we using? Tapatalk updated last week with support for the Thanks function in VB 3.x only. Since I can't find any way to actually thank posts, I'm guessing we're on 4.x.
Bpk likes this. -
Not sure why they'd choose to code for VB3 only. Seems counter-productive at best. -
