I was going through my usual bookmarks on the interwebz, and came across this piece by Black Flag's Henry Rollins. If you need a kick in the butt or ever wanted to know why I and others lift-this is why: Happy Reading! IRON, from Details Magazine By Henry Rollins *Edit: A clearer link if you are having problems reading the above: http://baye.com/the-iron-by-henry-rollins/ -Thanks again for saving my butt cnc.
No doubt. That last bit of sentences really struck home w/ me. 'The Iron never lies...' Ain't it the truth. Sometimes I look around the gym and I think I am the only one who realizes and accepts this fact. We could definitely use more ppl with the 'Iron Mind' in this world...it's becoming all too rare an occurrence, with preening peacock competitions taking precedence over the act of strengthening the mind, body and spirit. Even the martial arts have become superficially self-affirming. May this be a wake-up call and stimulant to those who are asleep, confused, ignorant or depressed. 'The Iron never lies...'
Props to Rollins for explaining it so well. That dude continues to amaze me with how smart and diverse he is.
Yeah. Coming from that super-hardcore punk background, I didn't think too much of him; but after reading some of his poetry and articles like this one here, I've found a new appreciation for Mr. Rollins. Def. talented at expressing himself through words- and that's not an easy thing to do. Major props.
Hilarious: Btw he loves saying **** so its def R rated. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyRDDOpKaLM&feature=related]YouTube - Henry Rollins on rave and modern rock music[/ame]

I was just messing with you bc I didn't understand the ? at the end of your sentence. Theres a ton of info on losing weight and exercise in this section. If you want more specific advice then you could create your own thread and give a lot of details. I'm sure many others and I would be able to give you some tips.
I wish I had brothers... (4 sisters) *On the plus side, I know women about as well as any man ever could- that part I'm grateful for.
