Hi guys, just wanted to post something about the NFL/philbin/sports in general.
First of all, as well all know the NFL is very fixed, with the ridiculous joke known as the patriots being given championships and the constant bs no calls/calls going against us. All the bogus PI's against us, the millions of no called holds on wake simply because he came from the CFL and they dont want that league to look good, so they keep him down when in reality if they called those holds he would most likely have 20+ sacks a year because the other team wouldnt be able to hold him for free anymore.
Philbin, don't drink the koolaid so soon guys, he's a decent coach but just because he's not Sparano doesn't mean he's agressive or good, sometimes he's agressive and sometimes he's Sparano 2.0, he's just average, and we want him to be amazing because Sparano was such a joke and this team has been a joke for 10 years now. I haven't given up on him yet but, while he's done some good stuff he's done a lot of bad stuff, like sometimes Sparano playcalling which auto loses games, and most importantly the seemingly lack of care he has for his players.
Letting Reggie injure his knee on a down that was obviously a running play to burn the clock instead of just kneeling when there was no possible way to score, it's no suprise he hasn't been the same since that injury. Not only Reggie but DT has had two concussions, the first one came on the same exact thing Reggie got injured doing, and then he gets concussed a second time because they put him back in too soon. I don't care what the medical eval says, as a HC your players health is your responsibility, it's obvious he wasn't healthy or he wouldnt have been concussed again so soon after. That's the thing I dislike most about Philbin, even if he is Sparano 2.0, don't injure people just for your ego, makes me sick.
Sports in general, most sports are fixed, the NFL is by far the worst, the NBA is a joke too, if you saw that Sacremento vs. Lakers series during the Lakers 3rd straight title run, you would puke from the crookedness of it all. Even in baseball if you saw the Rays-Red Sox 7 Game series a few years back you could see the umps calling horrid strikes for the Rays pitchers all series and balls for the Red Sox pitchers in the same exact spots the whole series, so all sports are paid off.
My point is to take sports with a big grain of salt, I know we all love sports and all want our teams to be good, but lets face it unless you just have an amazing team which even sometimes you can't win with against the fixed refs, you will lose if the league wants you to, it's all fixed so don't worry too much about it, enjoy sports personally because professionally it's just a big joke. It's all about money, not the game anymore.

The basic fundamentals of an argument are pretty simple (which fall under the fundamentals of logic): you propose a statement. Support your statement.

You certainly put up an argument:
But your premise is circumstantial and your conclusion is flawed. I certainly do not know that the NFL is "very fixed". I would suspect many here on our board would feel the same if polled.
I understand that you put yourself out there on something you feel strongly about. All we ask is that you support it with fact.
And please, please, adhere to the site rules regarding attacking a post, and not the poster.
You are new, so if you want to stick around, play nice and understand that it is difficult to change the minds of men who feel they are knowledgeable about the NFL and their Miami Dolphins. Support your argument and everything will fall into place......Boik14 likes this. -
