Last night's episode was pretty funny in my opinion. The opening was great and finally Jim and Pam were funny in an episode. I like that Gabe and Erin are dating now and Andy is still lurking in the background. I'm excited to see how this season plays out especially with Michael leaving and who takes over.
I loved Michael's line about Inception, Andy saying he doesn't like being called the Nardman that's his father, he's the Nard-Dog and Creed calling Betty White out.

What's with Gabe dating Erin though? To me it's just a sneaky way to keep Gabe's character on the show without having him do much other than being with Erin.
I didn't really like the beginning myself but I did like Michael's repeated attempts at magic. Not sure what it is but Pam just annoys the living hell out of me still (she was looking awesome though). -

The things I would do to Pam...

I thought last night's episode was the best one in 2 seasons. It was great. I especially loved the part where Andy flipped out and threw the pizza and Michael going to former girlfriends.
-
Would've been nice to actually see Donna and Holly. They's nice looking :wink2:

What's with most of the epidsodes not actually taking place IN the office. I love Andy's character, d00d is hilarious and Ed Helms is a brilliant actor. I have to say, I hate that Erin and Gabe are together because I'm not really a big fan of Gabe and I just want Andy to be happy but the fact that they ARE together kind of adds to Andy's character. I'm not so sure that I'm a big fan of Jim and Pam anymore. I don't like that they have a child and I especially hate that they named it CiCi. Still, overall, I enjoy this new season. It's not my favorite of all of them but it's ok. I would like to see them find a way to write Holly back into the show because I really like that she was with Michael even though it was for such a short period of time.

Will Ferrall has signed on to appear in 4 episodes, that should be pretty interesting.
Also major spoiler ahead, so read at own risk:
Michael Scott is going to leave for good with 4 episodes left in the season. The last 4 episodes will focus on the DM heads interviewing various people for Michael's position. Dwight, Andy and Darrell will be up for the head job as well new characters. The plan is to annouce who will take over in the last episode. I wonder if Will Ferrall is going to be interviewed for the job or if he's going to be on when Michael is still around.maynard likes this. -

im kinda surprised that interest in the show here has gone down so much. anyway, tomorrow we say goodbye to michael scott.

It's going to be super interesting to see how the show moves forward without him and who they're going to replace him with. Ray Romano, Gob from Arrest Development, Jim Carrey and James Spader are all going to be interviewing for the open position (once Will Ferrell leaves) and of course they can always give the job to Dwight or Darrell. I think if they want a Michael clone Gob will get the job but if they want to go in a different direction Spader or Romano could be interesting, obviously Jim Carrey isn't sticking around. Either way whoever replaces Michael is going to have huge shoes to fill. -
Too late.

Last night's episode was very disappointing in my opinion. You have big stars like Jim Carrey, Will Arnett, Ray Romano, James Spader, Ricky Gervais and just never spend more than a minute or so on each of them. Hell they pretty much showed all of Jim Carrey's part on commericals. Out of any of the guest stars I'd say Spader has the best/only chance of getting the role. Most likely someone from the cast will get it.
I have a bad feeling Darryll is going to get the job which I think will be a bad idea. I just don't find the actor or the character funny at all. I thought the episode was going to end with Jim saying he was going to take it. Either way I really don't think this show has any shot to survive without Steve Carrell now, especially since the show has slipped so much in the past few season even with him. -
Apparently the producers have their choice on who they want to be the next boss, but they need the network to sign off on it.
Anyway their choice is:
Catherine Tate who played the character of Nelly. -

it was kinda funny. it sounds to me like they are going to try doing David Brent in lipstick and red hair, because her lines and delivery seemed almost identical to what he would say.
i thought ray romano was hilarious, but he is already doing that TNT show. spader was just a creep imo. darrel has been awful since being moved out of the warehouse. the most humorous thing he does is to blatantly use affirmative action in his favor.
jim is an awful boss. its not the actor or the person. -
Give him a week and he'll be doing lines off of Kelly and Erin. -

its james spader. im pretty disappointed at the moment. he is the only one of the celeb guest stars i didnt really find that funny
at least it appears that he wont be in scranton that much. that could be more humorous
