- Apparently I wasnt dreaming when I heard Marc Gasol got DPOY. Now its being reported by multiple outlets.
- Hell of a shot by CP3 to end the Grizz comeback bid last night. Grizz were down 12 with 550 to go, tied it up and it took a CP3 bank at the buzzer. Impressed that Conley went toe to toe with him and while he didnt beat him, Conley just about broke even. This series should go 6-7 just as a requirement because its going to be a fun one to watch.
- Unlike the Nets/Bulls series which is fugly.
- Cleveland is seriously trying to get Mike Brown back. Dont they realize that hiring Lebron's old coach doesnt bring Lebron back? I guess not. Why else would a team make the same mistake twice?

You play against any big names? war stories?

I used to play vs. the best HU NL Holdem player in the world on Ultimate Bet. Prahlad Friedman "Mahatma". I used to play 25-50 HU vs. him and had even results, till somebody told me who he was, and I quit him.

Then poker at those levels online became a chop shop and I quit it all together.

If we're talking NL Hold 'Em ill take on the both of you. I play 3-5 major events a year and cash on a fairly regular basis although I've never made a final table in a major.

I do better in cash but enjoy tournies more. Although for some reason my success at the tables does not translate online. I can't win with any consistency in online poker.

There are ALWAYS multiple donors at the PLO tables waiting to give it away on hands of medium strength. If you are patient 2/5 PLO is a goldmine.

The best game on the planet is the 5-10 PLO 1k min. buyin at the Bellagio poker room in Vegas.

They just give away their money there. Problem is that those games break up so often that it's hard to recover if you drop a pot.

But people gladly gamble with you as 2 to 1 under dogs in that game.

For 5 good buy ins I would need a 10k roll....not there yet. I've played in 4 WSOP events only one cash and a minor one.

Played the Main Event three times, cashed once in 2010. AWESOME experience. Took out TJ Cloutier on day one. The funny thing is they televised him getting out of Dodge on his rascal but never showed me once on the broadcast.

Playing in event #3 this year. Smaller buy in but my wife only let's me do the Main Event once every few years.

Sec, if you've got the scratch to play the $5/$10 PLO in the Bellagio you could play in one of the bracelet events. Only $1000 to $2500 for them and, while difficult, making the money in them is not the Herculean effort it is in the main event. I DESPERATELY want a bracelet lol. The problem with the main event isn't just the 7000 or so people in it. It's that the level of comp is ridiculous. In most bracelet events there are usually 2-3 people at your table you can hone in on as targets to felt. In the main event you're lucky if there is one at your table and everyone goes after them like a pirrhana after a bleeding cow.

Fin I hate 99. Nothing good ever happens to me with it. Unless I'm on a low m and desperate I almost treat it like a low pair these days. We're you anywhere near the money when Bloch busted you?

Not really, I was lower than average in chips and with the wild kids raise and a flat call from Bloch and player X I just thought it was a good spot to chip up to about avg.

With the $ in pot I liked my situation in a flip, when you are forced to play against 3300 people kinda gotta take your medicine.

Update here got a top 5-6 stack 28 ppl left. Structure sucks but its more of a day out with the boss. He's a true degenerate.
