Don't care as long as we get Cleveland eventually. Win or lose, I want it and I hope the team does too.
Nice road win in Indy. Dwight and T-Jones out. Josh Smith hurt (major props for toughing it out & playing). Harden carrying the load once again...44 points, 7 assists, 4 rebs, 2 steals, 2 blocks. Maybe one day we'll get to see what this team looks like with everyone generally healthy.
Harden is not even a one way player, he absolutely stinks. You're being too kind. Currently 8th in the NBA in defensive win shares and 4th in steals (all of that while leading the league in minutes and points)....means nothing. Trash.
Tonight Harden got 21 of his 44 points at the FT line. Refs do love him. He, they fall for it, he deserves it.
Even if the refs don't "fall for it" at an exaggerated level he still throws up 30 / 7 / 4 / 2 / 2 . Him or Curry for MVP.
Interested to see how it plays in the playoffs - what if refs swallow whistles or a team can stay disciplined enough to not reach when he shows the ball. There's a 90% chance it won't matter and he'll kill them anyway - but it is something that's worth watching. He can kill teams in plenty of other ways, tho.
Is he playoff eligible though? I forgot what the rules are. He lives here, and probably would have signed if we gave him a fair contract offer. I don't think he's willing to uproot his family again, especially with the condition of his child, I remember his kid has a high stage of diabetes.
OK I only just picked up the game before the end of the first half and just found out about the ten stitches in Hassan's right hand. Trying not to hyperventilate. Talk me down.
I mean, just can't catch a break. Fortunately they're playing well without him. Unfortunately there's another very important game...tomorrow. Who will guard/concuss Olynyk if Whiteside can't go?
He was having such a good game too. 8 rebounds in 12 minutes. Hope his hand heals fast though, we should be able to take care of Boston without him.
****ing Beasley. Soon as I saw them march him back out while the Bucks were taking free throws, I though he's gonna find a way to screw this up. I even tweeted the line from Top Gun, "Sir, about Beasley, this is nothing personal..."
Great defense being played in the Philadelphia/Sacramento game. They're on pace for 260 points total.
that didn't do it justice. We managed to get every big guy hurt and were left with Beasley at center while we blew a 16 pt. lead in the 4th.
Hassan Whiteside is GONNA PLAY TONIGHT. Enough ****ing around......you are gonna have to kill us to get rid of us.
Whiteside had issues with his toenails...and had them removed. You get that with repeated bruising and bad toe hygiene. ZO had that done a ton. So did Shaq. It's common for basketball players. Jordan had them removed voluntarily.
To me the only question on Whiteside is whether they can rig something up that everybody is comfortable with that allows Hassan to catch the ball with minimal pain and minimal probability of popping the stitches. I'm not expecting any thunderous dunks for awhile, but if he can at least catch the ball effectively, which is what rebounding is, he can still be an asset and a net positive on the floor.
What a horse**** 4th quarter. I literally jumped out of my seat as the shot went in. Beasley is like this teams' dennis the menace.
Dwight finally back....now, Pat Beverly may be out for the season, which means Jason Terry will be starting. I quit.
Is anyone here over 6'6 and within driving dostance to Boston? Rolling the low b-squad out there tonight. Jeez. To lose 3 straight at this point in the season with Toronto coming up...would be awful.
