I love you, buddy, but that’s insane. In no way are either of them even close to LeBron. And that’s coming from one of Wade’s biggest fans. Wade himself has essentially said as much.

I don’t like stars who can’t handle the big moment. Wade could. Kobe could. And both won without needing two other stars. Sorry, I’m not the one who sees it insanely. Wade...well I don’t need to tell you how much he elevated that team vs the Mavs. And Kobe well, that’s just the best player post MJ.

Wade was certainly better than Lebron earlier in their careers. Arguably better their first year together too. Lebron really **** the bed vs the mavs.

Lebron is just so damn dominant still and his reliability and the fact that hes never suffered serious injury is just otherworldly. His bbiq is genius.

He’s still a whiny ***** that needs everything perfect for him to win.

This is interesting because with Dion in THIS good shape, the opportunity lies in front of him (and us) for him to build on some of the great efficiency work he did last year and then fast-forward to 2020 and you've got a (hopefully) attractive, productive, and efficient shooting guard on an expiring $12.65 million one year contract.

That could be a serious trade piece. And I think next year is the time when the Heat will be looking to trade for one of those guys who would otherwise be set to become free agents in 2021.

The notion that LeBron couldn’t handle the big moment but those others could is a false narrative that the stats prove wrong when you look at them. He had some bad moments, but so did every other great player. The Heat wouldn’t have even made it to the finals against the Spurs in year two of the Big 3 era if LeBron didn’t go super-human against the Celtics in game 6. The Cavs don’t even sniff a title without him against the Warriors.

The notion that the other players didn’t need good players around them to win is also misguided. Wade’s finals performance in ‘06 was arguably the best finals performance of all time. For that series, he was one of the best players of all time. But he wasn’t that player his entire career, and probably doesn’t win another title if he doesn’t pair up with LeBron. Kobe won with arguably the most dominant center of all time, then failed to make the finals again until they added Pau. Jordan played with a top 50 all-time player in Pippen, and plenty of other greats including when he recruited one of the best rebounders of all time in Rodman to join him.

If you don’t like LeBron, that’s fine. But suggesting Kobe or Wade are better players is flat out incorrect and biased. LeBron might be the only player in history that could have been a hall of famer at any position in basketball, in any era. He’s as big as Karl Malone, but moves like Jordan. In his prime, he could lock down any player in the league. Athletically and physically, he’s a freak of nature, and has off the charts passing ability and basketball IQ. Oh, and he can shoot as well. He has a legitimate claim to being the best player of all time, and the only people who debate that just don’t like the guy, or are stuck in the past.

He isn’t literally twice as clutch as Kobe in big shots in the last 24 seconds in the NBA playoffs.

He has been the guy you want with the ball in those moments the last 8 years.

Lebron did his damage vs a watered down eastern conference while Kobe had to battle through prime Duncan (also better then Lebron by the way), Dirk and Nash, Nash ans Amare, etc. Who did Lebron have to face come playoff time? The celtics for 2-3 years? Please. The idea that Lebron needed to go superhuman vs an aging celtics team further proves my point about conferences and the competition. In that western conference if you didnt have 2-3 studs you were 1 round and done. When Lebron faced actual elite teams he failed. Thats how you end up 3-5 in the finals. He then needed to recruit players leading to the mess of a league we have today.

Lebron was a dominant player at his peak but Grant Hill, who guarded both players, told Sports Illustrated: “He (LeBron) has the two pitches… both of them are great. But Kobe is like the guy with all the pitches. He brings his fastball, his change, gives you something on the corner… With Kobe, you’re never comfortable.” When it comes to Kobe vs. LeBron, the latter is great but the former was something truly special.

And the idea that Lebron was a better defender then Kobe is amazingly laughable. 12 all defensive teams for kobe. 6 for LeFail. And Kobe did it vs better competition out west.

Go watch more Lebron reruns if you truly believe that. Thats hilarious. Only Kobe was noted for the Mamba Mentality citing his mental toughness and ability to be a cold blooded beast down the stretch.

We’re going to judge how good a guy was on defense by number of all defensive teams? Come on. LeBron could lock down any player 1-5. Kobe was a phenomenal defender, but nobody in their right mind is going to claim Kobe could lock down 4s and 5s.

That quote from Hill doesn’t mean Kobe is a better player, it means he had more of an offensive repertoire. And even if he did make that claim, he’d be in the minority where only Kobe Stans and LeBron haters live. Clearly we’re not going to to agree here, so we’ll just have to leave it at that.

I mean, Kobe is below league average for "clutch" playoff shots (to tie or go ahead less than 24 seconds) and Lebron is well over.

    Kobe- 7/28

    Lebron- 8/22

That Mamba mentality is much like society these day's, fake media hype.

Eh i am starting to cool down on the Beal hype tho... and turning my full attention to Herro, Bam, and Winslow..

Beal is nice but i dont consider him a top 5 player in his position nor top20 in the nba... the heat gotta make sure theyre not about to throw max money on a guy who is a slightly better Eric Gordon...

Have you watched him play much? He's much better than Eric Gordon. He averaged 26/5/6 last year. Which 5 shooting guards are better than him? I can only name 2, and it's close with Klay.

I don't think the Heat are going to get him any time soon, but we're talking about a star player, who just turned 26.
