great win tonight. Wren is looking better and better. Need jhey to start hitting and bj to get more hits then he has. Lets hope we can build on this. j up is in beast mode right now.

Justin Upton has just been unconscious at the plate this year. It's early, but he's having an MVP type season.
I would like to see them play Evan Gattis more than Gerald Laird. Gattis might be the future though, so I bet he goes to Gwinnett when BMac gets back to get at bats.unluckyluciano likes this. -
Justin Upton is a machine. Obviously he's not going to continue hitting a homer per game but it looks like he's got a great shot at being in the MVP race. I would have liked to see a little better from Teheran. I think he'll be OK though. This team is looking good enough to challenge the hype machine Nationals.

Also what do you guy project Simmons will do? Im in a very deep league that uses traditional positions as well as a Mid Infield spot and could use a bat til Jeter gets well... -
I don't know much about Gattis. But, he has surprised me thus far. I think mc canns contract is up soon, so good to have his "replacement" getting some playing time.

Justin is as locked in as he's ever been. Oy, Kevin Towers.

Is bj hurt? Last night they gave him a break and schafer took his spot. Schafer had 4 hits by the way.

didn't see the jhey thing. Anyways, tonight, tonight vs the nationals. Do you sit jordan schafer? Teheran is pitching. Could be ugly.
-
Also gattis won't be starting. I think bj starts. But, could be a long day.

no idea how we're doing it. But we're doing it haha
-
RP looked like he was pole axed, dropped right on the mound

I got to see Gattis go deep in person against the Marlins a couple weeks ago. It's the fastest I've ever seen a ball leave the yard. His swing is lightning quick
-
soooooooooo what the hell do we do when mccaan gets back?
-
But that's assuming he keeps it up until then. -
-
Atlanta has to decide which two of the three they think is worth keeping around. As of right now, I'd probably take Gattis and Freeman, but that assumes Gattis keeps this up.unluckyluciano likes this. -

Simply solution is for the NL to get with the times and get a DH.
But seriously, I think you need to see if Gattis can keep this up, if he can great and if not at least he could be a useful part time player being a platoon partner playing 1B and back up catcher and sometimes LF and pinch hitter. -
