Since I've just started posting on this site yesterday, this thread is a little late, but better late than never.
So we are up 3 games to 1 on the Magic, and looks like we'll finish up this series pretty quickly. It was a great game yesterday though. I've never seen Rip play like he did yesterday. Great win especially without Billups in the lineup.

The Pistons really came together yesterday, but they've got to have Billups healthy to beat the Celtics. Stuckey was way over his head yesterday, which surprised me given how well he played in the second half. The offense really bogged down until they just starting running Hamilton on isos constantly. -
Stuckey was also in foul trouble all game.
But if I was Flip Saunders, I would sit Billups in game five. I think with a home crowd advantage, and a dissapointed Magic team who knows it's basicly over, I thik the Pistons will roll and end this series. -

And I would not sit Billups in game five if he's healthy, or even a reasonable facsimile of healthy. The Pistons found a way to win game 4, and that's huge, but as much as anything, that was an example of Orlando snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. They didn't get the ball to Howard down low, they pissed away a 15 point lead, they missed big free throws, they allowed Detroit to control the pace, and they got out of what made them a very good team. Detroit was VERY fortunate to get out of there with a win, and I think the Magic will be plenty pissed off heading to The D for game 5. I do not expect them to roll over. As I said in another thread: having the best player in a series is usually good for a win. So far, we haven't had The Dwight Howard Game. Maybe we won't, but the best way to make sure we don't is to kill the Magic while they're hurt, and not give Howard a chance to put them on his back. -

Man, we need a healthy Chauncey, though. We can't count on the Celtics or Cavs to shoot themselves in the foot as much as the Magic did in this series. -
Having Billups rest is one of the reasons why I wanted and Flip wanted Billups to sit. Also I knew that the Pistons could take care of the Magic without Billups, and they did.
Great Series guys! And now let's hope this Cavs/Celtics series goes 7 games! -

If the Cavs-Celtics series goes 7, game 1 of the ECF would probably start Tuesday night. If it goes 6, it will probably start Monday. So going 7 probably won't make that much of a difference.
Either way, Billups is looking at almost two weeks of rest. I think if last night was a game 7, he would have played. In any event, Saunders handled this correctly. Rodney Stuckey looked like **** in game 4, but he really played with confidence last night. That can't hurt going into the ECF.alen1 likes this. -
They showed Chauncey going the whole floor last night in practice.Even he said it feels really good and he just has to start his left to right motion and he's ready.I'm really nervous about the next series, this is the hardest of them all,I think the championship series is easier for the Pistons. :)
GO PISTONS!! -
for symbolism...I spit on my monitor with this thread open.

Not me but I think it's funny.
What's wrong with being a Piston fan?? ;) -
Scenario 1: Cleveland wins. Screw the Pistons.
Scenario 2: Boston wins. Go Pistons!!
EDIT: I guess you'd call that conditional love. -

Nice that the Cavs took Boston to a 7th game. Watching the game in a bit with a couple friends who are big Cavs fans.
