Lacking a real number 1 at WR and TE.
I like McNabb and Russel.
Overall, I think your just lacking superstars, aside from LT.TheAnswer385 likes this. -

This is a 12 team league and the roster positons are 1 starting quarterback, 2 starting running backs, 2 starting wide receivers, 1 starting TE, 1 starting W/R, and 4 starting defensive players.
QB- Tony Romo, Philip Rivers
RB- Marshawn Lynch, Jamal Lewis, Fred Taylor, Chris Johnson, Derrick Ward, Tim Hightower
WR- Dwayne Bowe, Joey Galloway, Reggie Williams, Jabar Gaffney, Devin Hester
TE- Kellen Winslow, Donald Lee
K- Neil Rackers
DB- Antonio Cromartie, Ed Reed
DL- James Harrison, Jon Beason -
RBs Grade B+ Good depth there with fred taylor as a back up
WRs Grade C I like Bowe (Obvious reasons...on my team) Galloway is capable of good things Hester eh ok has some upside but im not fan of Reggie Williams and Gaffney.
TEs Grade A+ With Winslow being my favorite to be the #1 Te this year and Lee is a nice back up with good but not great numbers perhaps Rogers will use him more than Fare was last year.
Thats it from me I just wanted to grade the main areasBrown42000 likes this. -
I keep critiquing everyone's teams, so it's time to reciprocate. This is my Club Level league team. 12 teams in the league, #1 pick, Yahoo standard scoring:
QB Donovan McNabb
WR Marques Colston
WR Roy Williams
WR Javon Walker
RB LaDainian Tomlinson
RB Michael Turner
TE Antonio Gates
K Phil Dawson
DEF Chicago
BN Matt Forte
BN DeAngelo Williams
BN Derrick Mason
BN Brett Favre
BN Donte' Stallworth
BN Tampa BayBig E likes this. -
Walker is at least very talented and the unquestioned #1 WR on that Raiders team. If he stays healthy, he'll produce. Stallworth is just a fill-in. -
I am in the other club level league.
QB Carson Palmer
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Chris Chambers
WR L. Coles
RB L.T.
RB Willis Mcgahee
TE Antonio Gates
K Nick Folk
BN RB Kevin Smith
BN WR Jericho Crotchery
BN QB Brett Favre
BN WR Derrick Mason
BN TE Zach Miller
DEF Baltimore
DEF Seattle -
Start Seattle's defense over Baltimore's. Patrick Kerney, Lofa Tatupu, and Marcus Trufant combining in that weak division is a dream.

Tried an NFL.com public league live draft last week and this is my roster after drafts and trades:
QB Peyton Manning
WR Randy Moss
WR Roy Williams
WR Reggie Wayne (acquired via trade)
RB LaDainian Tomlinson (acquired via trade)
RB Frank Gore
TE Kellen Winslow
K John Kasay
DEF Pittsburgh
BN Ronnie Brown
BN DeAngelo Williams (off waivers)
BN Alge Crumpler (off waivers)
BN Brett Favre
BN Chris Chambers (acquired via trade)
Can you say game-****ing over? -
Besides, Witten was gone and the only other TE worthy of the pick in that spot is Kellen Winslow, but he's allergic to TDs. (Plus Anderson's status after that concussion is still iffy.) -
-
Darren Sproles just became a free agent in this league. It's too bad I'm absolutely stocked at RB; he'd be a great handcuff pick. :wink2: -

Ideally, I'd like to trade Williams or Forte after a couple of weeks to a guy who needs RB help, and get a #2 receiver in return. I'd waive Stallworth and pick up a backup TE that way. -
12 teams. PPR. 4th pick.
QB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, DEF
QB - C. Palmer - Round 5
RB - S. Jackson - Round 1
WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh - Round 2
WR - T. Holt - Round 3
TE - D. Clark - Round 4
There were 4 QBs taken in the first round. I was laughing because I knew Palmer and Hasselbeck would be there waiting for me in the 5th. And they were. I didnt want to take a TE so early, but some douchebag took Shockey in the late 3rd and set off a huge run on TE. Gates, Winslow, Witten, Gonzalez, and Clark all went back to back. I feel bad for the guys that missed out on that run. I barely caught the end of it.
I won this league last year, and plan on doing it again this year. -
I feel pretty decent about this one(although i felt the same after my daft last year and came in 4th). this leauge is with co-workers so i really want to take these guys money.

QB-Romo
RB-Steven Jackson
RB-Michael Turner
WR-Braylon
WR-Fitz
TE-Gates
WR/TE-Dwayne Bowe
D-Jax
K-Josh Brown
BN-Chris Cooley,Ryan Grant,Brandon Marshall,Ricky,Rudi Johnson,Ginn,Chester Taylor,Selvin Young.
i drafted 5th and had Westbrook originally along with Laverneus Coles ,but traded both of them for Jackson and Braylon. i stole Marshall though people thought he was suspended half the season and i didnt correct them :) -
Rudi Johnson is a waste of a pick. Drop him for Chris Perry, or see if you can trade him to an idiot for someone like DeAngelo Williams.
Who's your backup QB? -

Would you guys trade cotchery(whom I have) for Turner? Ive been on the fence for the last week about this one. my team is in the first post of the thread. I have Maroney R.Brown and Tomlinson there already. I think Cotchery will have a nice season.

I can see either way though... -

So.. uhm.. How does my team look?? :king:
Starting:
QB: Carson Palmer
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Darren McFadden
WR: Roy Williams
WR: Andre Johnson
R/W: Selvin Young
TE: Alge Crumpler
PK: Nick Folk
DST: Pittsburgh
Bench:
QB: Chad Pennington
RB: DeShaun Foster
WR: Ted Ginn Jr.
WR: Deion Branch
TE: Zach Miller
DST: Miami
Also.. I'm not sure if I should start Selvin Young or Ginn as R/W.. Any advice there?? -

So is it safe to say that Slaton is the better of the Slaton/Taylor duo in Hou?
He came back to practice on monday and is reported to be sharing carries with Taylor in week 1 as they ease Ahman Green back. I need to drop Taylor somewhat soon if hes the loser. -
i basically ended up in the worst draft position in my strangely arranged 12 team keeper league and ended up banking on the young receivers to blossom...
Starters:
QB - Roethlisberger
RBs - Gore, Jamal Lewis
WRs - Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Bowe
WR/TE Flex - Chris Chambers
TE - Todd Heap
K - Phil Dawson
Def - Seattle
Bench:
Sidney Rice - WR
Ted Ginn - WR
Edgerrin James - RB
Deshaun Foster - RB
Alge Crumpler - TE
Tavaris Jackson - QB (Is playing Detroit the week of Big Ben's bye)
so i'm heavily relying on the 2nd year WRs to step it up big for me... -
