This thread is for the folks that beat Fable2. This way we can share experiences without having to make spoiler boxes over and over again.
I beat Fable 2 last night at 3AM EST. I loved it. I would have preferred a bigger and more grand final boss fight from the great Lucien. But on shot to the head with my rifle in slow-mo while he's mid sentence was plenty for me.
I went the chump route and chose Sacrifice. I saved the thousands of innocence. It kinda sucks without my dog. I miss that bastard. My wife and kid also dead. But the rest of the world loves me.
What'd you guys do?

i just played the game vicariously through you. no need to buy now :D
-
I was thinking there was some kind of boss battle after you shoot him.
I picked family. I couldn't part with that dog. -
Does everyone still love you?
-
-
I told mor he was a stupid ***** for picking everyone else.
-
You still got a ****ing Halo??? I'm trying to steal and murder now to get rid of that ****ing thing!

oh god the ending was atrocious. (remember i beat it two days after release) i've been dieing to tear the ending apart but no one else i know has beaten it yet.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? who cares about that stupid music box. I realize they wanted the story to be cool with having you buy the music box as a kid and all that, but come on, some form of a boss fight was needed. -
yeah.... Even the boss from Fable one was better than this. There was nothing. It just sort of ended. And correct me if I'm wrong, but it felt like there was only 10 (if that) quests in the main story. WAY short if you don't do crap on the side.
Anyone felt like the penalty for death was a little non-existent?TheAnswer385 likes this. -

I did tons of side quests. The city job mini games annoyed me tho

Eventually i went with wealth because i wanted to own castle fairfax. Which, i might add, is an interesting quest to do after you beat the game for those interested.TheAnswer385 likes this. -
You can just buy the Castle if you have the gold, right?
-
-
wait wait.... You mean. I can disconnect from live, move the system clock ahead 10 years and get 10 years worth of gold??
-
-
I finished it and yeah I was waiting for something to happen and then the credits rolled. maybe I wasn't supposed to shot him mid sentence, kind of like killing the white balverine in one hit  I chose love, just waiting for an expansion or DLC so I can find my damn sister... Hope I don't have to wait until F3... Stupid ambiguous note.

Just beat it, despite missing my dog so much I chose "sacrifice." I hope I can buy another dog.
and yea, it just sort of ended....easily.
Do I really want the other 30 achievement points? I'm not sure if I care enough to reset as the credits are rolling. -
-
actually, yeah, you can. I did. You can move your system clock all the way to 2025 i believe.
And that's a lot of gold. -
I chose sacrifice too...dumbass that I am. :pity: -
Just beat it and loved it. Thought the ending was a little weak, no boss fight :(
Chose Sacrifice seeing how my Wife and kid left me because I didn't talk to them for a week :pity:
I miss thy dog :( -
I ****ed up I should have picked the middle option :pity:
