I figured instead of having a boat load of threads for today's draft, this would be the route to go.
The ONLY thing I would ask is if anyone has any inside knowledge as to who the pick is prior to its announcement, please use the spoiler alert.
Fins up baby!!!!

well, #3yards has me convinced and excited about the possibility of R Smith as our future LB to pair with Raekwon McMillan

I think the closest I could give to a spoiler is that the Dolphins are currently planning on drafting a footballer of some position today. This is however not certain.
I'm hoping the top 10 is a bloodbath this year and let's us either come out with a top talent or nets us a kings ransom when somebody else decides to jump up in order to get their man. Also I haven't slept in almost 35 hours so a mad draft night for everyone would at least help to keep me awake.Pauly, Tin Indian and danmarino like this. -
Here's a breakdown of the Dolphin's 2018 Draft Picks

Round 4, Pick 23 (123rd) (from CLE via CAR)
Round 4, Pick 31 (131st) (from NE via PHI)
Round 6, Pick 35 (209th) (from LAR via KC)
Round 7, Pick 9 (227th) (from SF)

Ryan Tannehill has been informed he will be the starting QB in 2018 if Miami selects a QB rd. 1, per pft.

I’d take Allen. Pro style qb rediculous upside. As a plan b for Tanny absolutely.
But I’d be shifting into a heavy pa vertical based offense if he played
The fit for the pre snap and progression read less than ideal.
Do what he does best. Work off pa and vertical passing game for chunk yards
You can live with accuracy at a 60 or so clip in a vertical based o
And we’d call every vertical route combo in the tree tooLast edited: Apr 26, 2018 -
Depends who's already made moves etc. I mean if the Bills are there then you could probably really leverage the Saints as you know the Bills would be going QB

For Rosen I stay and take him no question. For Allen? I'd be tempted to trade, but it'd need to be a haul. I'd avoid a trade with Buffalo if at all possible. Arizona, the Saints, Chargers, Steelers, etc. Can use the Mahomes trade as the basic frame.
That said, unless the FO and Gase are really sold on Tannehill beyond 1-2 years, I think you need to take him. The biggest thing that may go into the equation is finances. A first round QB who provides good QB play is such an insane value compared to a free agent, it's so tough from a cap standpoint to pass on that. Look at what the Seahawks did with Wilson, look at what the Eagles are doing with Wentz and you get the idea. -
I meant it would be a gift for us if he went top 10 in front of usshamegame13, Nappy Roots and danmarino like this. -

I like Mayfield, but a couple weeks ago he was supposedly going around 10. The way he has shot up to #1 the last week or so smacks of misinformation and smoke screens. Of the players that i think will still be around, I would still prefer Edmunds or if hes gone Vea. We need defensive help more than anything else imho.

I remember when Arden Key out of LSU was top ten just a few months ago...

This is the first time in I dont know how long that there seems to be no idea who is going number 1. Everyone is all over the place.

I’m really hoping for Lamar Jackson. High risk , high reward.

I thought the Giants were going to go QB. Surprising.
