The Season is here. The Heat this season is a trade deadline away and a season away from setting themselves up for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.
In the meantime, they will field a MUCH improved team, with experience and health alone.
Predictions for the Heat:
47-35 (4th in East) Loss in second round to the Orlando Magic in six.
The NBA:
#1 seeds: EC: Magic WC: Lakers
The Cavs will dissapoint......This will be the Boston Celtics LAST hurrah, ....as they will beat the Magic in the ECF's...the Lakers will beat the Portland Trailblazers in the WCF's.
Lakers beat Celtics 4-3 in the Finals to repeat as Champions.
MVP: Kobe Bryant (Dwyane Wade will get REAL consideration this year)

6th man: lamar odom (more media hype, crappy kardashian and candy stories)

no real award, but kevin durant has to have a monster year this year. i'm hoping to get him in the second round in my fantasy draft. -
No curse this year? lol

44-38, 5th seed. **** the Hawks, yall some *****es; revenge IN YOUR HOUSE. Second round exit.
I'm also predicting a BIG year for Michael Beasley. Critics silenced.
But for "some reason" we'll open up the 2010 season top 5 in ESPN's power rankings. ;)Frumundah Finnatic likes this. -

Im planning on getting out to few games this season.
Want to make to at least one by xmas.
Any suggestions about visiting?
When, where to sit, what to watch for? -
Try to sit in at least in the 300 section.
the 400 section sucks.
If you are driving...PARK in Bayside 2 hours before game time....it is cheaper and secure...as well as easy to get out after the game.TiP54 likes this. -
Our Starting Lineup has leaked....
According to IRA..there are a couple of surprises.
PG Mario Chalmers
SG Dwyane Wade
SF Quentin Richardson
PF Michael Beasley
C Jermaine Oneal
Haslem, Cook and Jones will be the top rotation guys off the bench. -
I called it all along but wasn't sure the coaching staff would have the courage to do it (Beasley starting at PF with Haslem coming off the bench). I thought it'd be James Jones starting, but Q-Rich had a pretty solid preseason. This is a needed change because with both Haslem and Beasley starting our bench is too thin, and we cannot afford the slow offensive starts again this year so it's time for Beasley to take over. I'm excited to see what Beasley can do with a cleared head and a lot more minutes than last season. As long as he continues to mature he'll be great.
I'm also loving the idea that we've got three deadly shooters on this team. Exactly what's needed for a team that plays through Wade, Beasley, and J.O. offensively. Q-Rich is going to explode. -
BTW..I hear Que is in spectacular shape.
he dropped 30 pounds and is at 6% body fat according to Riley. -
He is in his contract season as well, we all know how that goes... -
Btw thanks for starting the thread.
I saw a commercial with Q.Richardson on espn, he was talking about all the places he was tradeded to, then he said cant wait for Miami to re-sign Wade.
So, are we also on the countdown til July 2010 to bring in a playmaker alongside Wade and company to start winning titles?Section126 likes this. -

I like Portland in the WCF, though. At least the semi's. -
This team is looking fantastic tonight!!!
-
Three players over 20 points. I love it.
-
great win but not at all suprising, given that the Knicks truly suck.
-
Great to see JO dominate....and it is telling that Wade had a bad shooting night and we still win going away.
Beasley is going to have a huge year.
Mario Chalmers looks stronger and better driving the lane.
The only negative was Carlos Arroyo having problems passing the ball.
Haslem in his role will be great.
Very Impressed with Q...the guy lost the weight and is dedicated...the Knicks suck..but they can put a ton of pressure on your perimeter.....and Q held up...
Now onto that HOUSE OF HORRORS in Indiana.Frumundah Finnatic likes this. -

The Jinx is over....JO DOMINATES again....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
If they play like this..they will be contenders......
THIS YEAR.
we gotta rack up victories in this first month...because january and February are murderous on our schedule. -
why didnt JO play that consistantly well last year?
-
He was still hurt
-
Yeah. It looks like our top three scorers are going to be Wade, O'Neal, and Beasley.
