Looks to be a great season for the Heat, have fun slapping the Knicks around Wed night.

heat go 41-41, 7th in the east, and lose to celtics in the first round.

finals, celtics over lakers in 6.

dpoy: artest parlays his l.a. media hype into the award
coy: vinnie del negro (i might be putting too much faith in rose here)
roy: stephen curry
6th man: lamar odom (more media hype, crappy kardashian and candy stories)
most improved: elton brand

no real award, but kevin durant has to have a monster year this year. i'm hoping to get him in the second round in my fantasy draft.

No curse this year? lol

Personally I would like to see Dorell Wright get more playing time this season. We need to see what he is all about.

In Bayside right next to the arena...the Tradewinds is a great bar..and they have the best Hooters on the planet.

Try to sit in at least in the 300 section.

the 400 section sucks.

If you are driving...PARK in Bayside 2 hours before game time....it is cheaper and secure...as well as easy to get out after the game.

Haslem, Cook and Jones will be the top rotation guys off the bench.

I called it all along but wasn't sure the coaching staff would have the courage to do it (Beasley starting at PF with Haslem coming off the bench). I thought it'd be James Jones starting, but Q-Rich had a pretty solid preseason. This is a needed change because with both Haslem and Beasley starting our bench is too thin, and we cannot afford the slow offensive starts again this year so it's time for Beasley to take over. I'm excited to see what Beasley can do with a cleared head and a lot more minutes than last season. As long as he continues to mature he'll be great.

I'm also loving the idea that we've got three deadly shooters on this team. Exactly what's needed for a team that plays through Wade, Beasley, and J.O. offensively. Q-Rich is going to explode.

BTW..I hear Que is in spectacular shape.

J O'Neil has to play better, to me he is the key to the season even more so than Beeze.

He is in his contract season as well, we all know how that goes...:lol:

I saw a commercial with Q.Richardson on espn, he was talking about all the places he was tradeded to, then he said cant wait for Miami to re-sign Wade.

So, are we also on the countdown til July 2010 to bring in a playmaker alongside Wade and company to start winning titles?

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra announced the starters Wednesday: NBA scoring champion Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers at guard, Jermaine O'Neal at center, Quentin Richardson at small forward and Beasley.

Not that far up the ranks. Carmelo Anthony is easily better if you're only talking perimeter guys. If not, then D12 as well. Roy is probably in the 15-20 range.

I like Portland in the WCF, though. At least the semi's.
