There was a time when the Patriots were a young and upcoming team and I decided to root for them once the Dolphins were out of the playoff race. However from this day forward IM over any kindness for that team of scumbags..
Honestly Todays game where they are up up 59 to 0 over the Titans (man I feel bad for them why there 0-6 is beyond me with that talent!) was the last straw..
There is NO reason Brady needs to be in the game from Half time on. They are purposely running up the score in some kind of take that to the rest of the NFL. They wan't to say F-YOU to everyone and were the best..
Classless... I hope Brady gets sacked and his leg falls off honestly. I hope Billijerk falls and requires discs to be removed from his back honestly.
All his antics over the last few years have proven his a real honest to goodness "Prick" If the game was close why I can understand it. They should have put in the backup in the second quater honestly.
That team is full of like minded pricks and Im sending every bad vibe I can find towards them..
I think what they did today is just another nail in the coffee to any legacy they had.. There not fan friendly to me anymore..
Honestly I would root for the Jets over them at this point..and thats saying alot..
BOOH New England I wish you ill..
Paybacks are a *****. I can't wait till we are a complete team and dominate you on every possession..
Classes Pricks one and all..

they yanked brady after the first series of the 2nd half, with over 25 minutes left in the game
that's gotta be a record for yanking a qb during a regular season win, where the qb wasn't injuredTheAnswer385 and Stringer Bell like this. -

and definitely not when you decided not to kick fgs late when you could have made it even more of a blowout (like 68-0)anditsgood likes this. -

it's a fact you can't run up the score in the first half lol
the dolphins scored more on the bills in the 2nd half than NE did vs tenn today
in your guys opinion...you're calling your own team classless
that's what you're doing...... -
new england was up 45-0 against the bills. Not sure what your point is. Not sure again, how they are remotely related.Frumundah Finnatic, calphin and muscle979 like this. -

In fairness, with Brady having his injury comeback I totally understand why they decided to keep him in. Whether it was cocky or not really is a moot point. They've got a QB who hasn't been playing up to his normal calibur in a while, and is running hot in a game. If I'm the coach, I keep him in and let him get back into his groove.
Yes, it sucks for the Titans, and I hate Bellichek and the Pats as much as anyone, but I really don't think thats what it was. -
How does this game not qualify? They're up 38-0 with 40 seconds left in the half and thew throw it down the field. Then they come out at the half in a 5 WR set and once again throw it down the field. This AT home against a 0-5 team. That's classless in every sense of the word.
-
Its classless and should be little debate about it. Can someone tell me why are you throwing the ball up 40pts again? You come out in 5WR sets...piling up stats for no other reason than to PILE UP STATS. What you do is pull your starters and get your backups work. Not wait till Brady can get his 6th TD pass and then pull him. What if Brady would have got hurt while trying to throw that 6th TD? Did they worry about Tenn mounting a comeback???
This looks eerily familar does it not? Have never seen a team other than NE who throws the ball and throws it downfield when up 40. Did they go for it on any 4th downs?? I would not doubt it. It will bite them down the road...just like it did going for 19-0. Classless then...classless now -
I've hated on the Pats for running the score up against crappy teams in the past, but this week they honestly didn't. Those points were in the first half. If they kept doing that in the 2nd half I would hate on them. But doesnt anyone remember the Monday Night Miracle back in 2000? You have to score as many points in the first half that you possibly can to avoid that.
-
I see nothing wrong with this. I also believe, in the first half, no matter what, you can have the petal to the metal. With the reports of Tom Brady's demise being greatly exaggerated (look in this very forum a few posts down) they wanted to see 2007 Brady back. I'm throwing him back in after a halftime because we've seen two different teams sometimes just after a half. he comes out, gets a TD. Cool. All is well. Pull him.
Again, I get plenty pissed about the Patsies, but I don't see anything wrong here. In 2007 they were throwing TDs and going for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter with only a couple minutes left. That was when maybe you should have wished ill will. Not today. But hey, I'm not going to stop a fellow dophin fan from hating the Patriots. :) -
Nah, your wrong Jdang on this one.
If indeed you want to solidify the gamean do you not start running the ball to run down the clock?
Billicheat instead is going no-huddle 5 reciever sets after up 49-0.
They are indeed bad losers as we know, and even worse winners
Karma will catch up with themz, and now its just one more fanbase that hates them. -
Come on comparring the Bills game and the Pats game is crazy.. Even if your up 24-3 I would keep your starts in for sure because 2 touchdowns and its a GAME again, but scoring 34-0 and running hurry ups and tossing deep all the time is what im referring to.
There is a difference the PATS saw it but said who cares...Karma is a ***** and I tell you now before this season is up I think Brady goes down again.. -
In 2007 they ran the score up to the very last minute. At the end of the day you worry about you, and if I was Belly, I'd want to see brady come out after the half, run one series, get him right (he's been inconsistent since coming back). So oh well, to each their own :knucks: -
Oh, okay.
So the fact that they were throwing it, while leading by 21,28, 35 is on...IS NOT running up the score...because it was first half? Your logic is flawless. You must fit in well with jests fans. -

Article goes on to ask, what do you want the Patriots to do, take knees for the rest of the game? Lol run the ball? They still may have ran up the score that way. Grown men getting paid vs. grown men getting paid. The Titans can find solace in their million dollar homes :D -
Miami had every excuse to put 50 on the board that day, yet went the classy route.muscle979 likes this. -
Even here in the Dallas Metroplex, everybody agrees it was a senseless, classless thing to do.
And one more fanbase will be cheering Tammy Brady going out on a stretcher  -
mmm...Classless would've been leaving Brady in for the entire game in order to set a NFL record..which they didn't do...probably could've had 8 or 9 TDs...
First half...I'm of the mindset that any team can come back...you just never know...I think anything less than a 40 point lead can be breached.

So...while I'll never be a NE fan, I'm not going to harass them for running up the score.
It's good for my fantasy football team. ^_^
(and yes, I have more Dolphins on my teams than players form other teams in general)jdang307 likes this. -
Classy would have been if the Titans were playing shorthanded due to tragedy or something. I see 11 pros beat up on another 11 professionals. It's part of the game. I mean, what the Dolphins did against NE a couple years ago when Zach et al scored a tape and deciphered their signals was considered bush league. Some might say, classless. -
That is the exact reason why they come out in 2nd half, up by 50, with their starting QB in the game throwing the ball.
They should of went for 2 point conversions and onside kicks too, since they are trying to win the superbowl, and have been game planning hard vs this great Titans team. -
-
Bottome line, no team has ever overcome a 45-0 defecit.
And no, what the Dolphins did was not classless. It was completely within the rules and had any of the other 31 teams thought of it, they'd have done it as well.calphin likes this.
