he ran slow as dirt at the combine 4.68
-
Chris Givens or Nick Toon please. I'd be happy with Wylie too.
-
Criner would be an awesome pick up. I'm from Tucson and have seen him play in person many times. He is a beast and can make the big catches too. Has a nice vertical and he's pretty damn strong. Has good explosiveness just not the fastest on the top end but he's a thick powerful dude

Criner has a very good VL at 38 1/2, but his shuttle was 3rd worst and his 3 cone was tied with McNutt for the worst among WRs at the combine. When WRs are not blazing fast, it's nice to see them have at least a good 3 cone.
I love his hands though. Don't see many players make as many insane catches as he does. I'd just hope he can get separation against NFL corners.
If we take him I won't complain.
Greg Childs is another one I'd like. If he hadn't been recovering from a torn patella tendon as senior, I think he could have been up among the top 6-8 WRs.Paul 13 and Nappy Roots like this. -
Chris Givens is my 1st choice.
Nick Toon is my 2nd. -
Boomer, what's your take on him? How productive of a pro do you think he can be? -

For the record, I'm good with getting Criner, even if mostly as a red zone threat. We need a big WR that can catch a fade (anyone know if Tannehill is good at throwing that pass?) or outjump a defender. Other than Egnew being a weapon for us, I'm resigned to having no real replacement for Marshall this year.

Marvin McNutt, please.
-
Joe Adams.....:tongue2:
-
There are linebackers who run faster 40s. Just sayin'.

NFLN has Criner as top remaining WR...then Jones....
-
How about a WR at SOME PT???!!!
-
Criner reminds me of James Pruitt. Fast, tall, athletic, makes great catches, but according to the scouting report...very inconsistent.
Moot point. The Raiders just took him. -
there are still many WR's available, I'm sure they're looking
however
never saw the need & still don't
we plenty to build on:
WR: Clyde Gates (stretch the field), Brian Hartline (go-to), Davone Bess (slot), Legedu Naanee (vet/comp), Roberto Wallace, Julius Pruitt (excelent height & speed), Marlon Morre
Te: Anthony Fasano, Michawel Egnew, Charles Clay (three that can be used in the 3-TE set) Jerod Mastrud
Receiving RB's: Bush, Thomas & Martin
Remember we're going to be using a West Coast Offense -
