i hate the steelers and a lot of their fans. no this has nothing to do with pat white. i thought that was classy what they did there with the praying.

but they generally piss me off.

several things could have happened differently. had two of our defenders not run into each other early in the game to give up the big score it could have been different. that int from thigpen towards the redzone... etc.

It is going to be a long 8 months to see if this franchise really is back to being a super bowl contender. No excuses in 2010.

right because the offensive ineptitude in the 3rd quarter had nothing to do with us losing the game.

the defense caused some interceptions and fumbles this game too..

STs weren't getting it done because they were scared to kick to ginn squib kicking all game long...

the whole team choked bro thigpen also threw an interception in the redzone that could have tied or put us ahead.

 

with a obvious inferrior qb in pat white....what did u expect in the 3rd qtr? and everything else aside. we had a chance. the last drive. everyone in the world knew they were running the ball.....and our defense couldnt stop them. thats domination.......thats our defense choking.

 

Idk why but I'm not pissed...I was when Henne got taken out but now I fell confident heading into next year. we just need that x factor. Henne played amazing in the 1st half. In the words of mary Tyler Moore...he's gonna make it after all... We fix our d and get that wr were afc east champs next year

hey i'm not saying they didn't choke i'm just saying the whole team did not just one side. if we had put thigpen in the 3rd how do you think we would have fared for the second half?

henne obviously wasn't coming back in regardless.

so the question becomes why white instead of thigpen IMO.

i think they were talent evaluating. perhaps they don't see him at QB next year, and now that thigpen came in and proved he could push the ball down the field it might be the end of the pat white @ QB experiment for good..

cheers dude i'm a bit upset that we didn't get the W.. it would have meant keeping PIT out of the playoffs at least and i hate those bastards as much as any team in the AFCE.

i think, the second houston won, that this played out for the best. we should have our pick of a damn special player in this years draft. and lets not forget, we're a good team if we can stay healthy. you throw Fergy, will allen, ronnie, channing back into the fold, and we win today and make a lil noise in this crazy *** season. i mean, not that channing is great. but god the alternatives are brutal.

 

and while im here, i was contemplating a big time CBA rant, but didnt have the heart or energy...but im seriously concerned about the future of the game. if theres no cap, and teams can go ape-**** and sign with no parameters...this game will turn to total ****. it will ruin it.

this is by far my biggest off-season concern. forget miami, i expect sunshine and rainbows next july. i just hope this game they play in doesnt blow.

True.....tried my best to keep those thoughts out of my head but facts are facts.

Wasn't happy with not defending the division title or getting a wild card but I'll be smiling in April when we're picking in the top 15

 

yeah. its impossible to sit and stare at a tv, and root against them. but the second the late games started, i felt a feeling of relief. we're too good of a team to be drafting in the top 12 for 7 rounds. i think its gonna have a tremendous effect. sitting here now, i expect a dominant team next season.

After dealing with, yet again, opposing fans' bs, to the point that my husband had to leave the game or "defend my honor." I was just sitting in my season ticket paid seat. Stillers fan harassed us all game. We were the better fans.
We are not renewing our tickets next year. Not a knee-jerk reaction, just a continuing one that we have been considering. We will go to a few games next year, yet I am so over the whole drama that is being a Dolphins fan at the stadium. It sucks. Most of you here don't attend games and slam the locals for not attending---I am you guys now. Also, in March, I won't have 4 grand billed to my credit card...WIN WIN WIN

I'll say by same crap I keep saying: Ted Ginn is a coward and it offends me to see him in a Dolphins uniform. Hell, a FOOTBALL uniform.

I don't want to see him on this team next year.

He's the only Dolphins player ever whom I would gladly fight in a bar fight... if I could catch him.

Have you tried emailing the team and just explaining the situation?
Not that it would change your descision.
We have been to 7 home games within the past two years, and yes, away fans are very obnoxious. Fans (especially STH) should let the team know about it.

 

I appreciate your idea. I have been attending Dolphins games since 1986 and a season tix holder for the last 12. I am done. I understand the fan code, and most don't go above it. Can't remove a fan for being a passive aggressive a-hole. They have to cuss or hit or something, and I never entertain them to that level. I will attend some games of course. Goodbye Section 107 :cry:
