I like this dis freakin guy, know what I'm sayin.
" beautiful dart over the middle".... I'm noticing a trend,
A chad Bumphis sighting.
He says we might have a hidden gem from up there in Canada..POds, where you at on Lee Robinson?

McNutt continuing to impress... very interesting. With Binns and Matthews doing their thing... McNutt seems to be pushing the FO/coaching staff in an awkward spot. Do they keep 6 WRs? If McNutt keeps it up, it's gunna be a tough call.

Plus Gibson is pretty much on a one year deal -
However it's not like Matthews and Binns are making his life easy so who knows what will happen. -

To be fair, 1-on-1 drills are inherently receiver-friendly.
This is what we like to hear, but I'm not getting too up or down this early. Preseason games will give us a little bit more. -
The space between a fan blogger's "slowly but surely" and Omar Kelly's "the Mike Wallace factor hasn't been felt so far" is virtually non-existent in my eyes. I might feel different if the blogger gave indications that Omar was WAY off, as in there were 3 or 4 plays that Omar must have just plain not seen because his observations didn't even make sense...but that's not what the guy said.Mile High Fin and Stringer Bell like this. -
Sorry for commenting when I'm uneducated as I haven't read everything Omar has said...
...but we KNOW what Mike Wallace can do. There is plenty of evidence from his career thus far. I'm struggling to understand what concerns he has this early. From the tweets I saw, he was almost indicating he wasn't sure that Wallace was that explosive, which seems silly given the evidence of his career. If his point was that Wallace and Tannehill don't have a connection yet, it's also hard to get worked up considering how early we are in the process of them being teammates.
I guess I'm just not sure what the concerns are this early. It's not like Ted Ginn where he got in camp and it was like, "Oh crap, this guy can't play football." It's more just an issue of making sure he is productive in this environment. And it seems too early to really get worried yet.evz, Larry Little and Fin D like this. -
When I factor in that the team has primarily worked on the short passing game and redzone, I think "slowly and surely developing chemistry" and "three very productive practices" is starkly different from Omar's implication that Wallace hasn't done anything yet. IIRC in one of the earlier reports he talked about Wallace's big day. There was also one practice report (from the same guy I believe) that specified that Wallace had 9 catches that day. IMO that does directly contradict the info Omar is putting out. So comparing a guy I don't know much about, but is providing specifics vs. a guy I know is prone to hyperbole and spotty fact checking, I'll trust the new guy more over the guy I know to be an idiot.
