Been very busy....not able to get on this past week. Let me say from the outset, as someone very critical of this team, they surprised me Sunday in Cleveland. The offense was better than I thought it would be. Happy to be wrong about that. Today 's game is going to be a challenge. Indy is a very tough place to play. Its very loud, and their team feeds off that energy. Looking at the matchups. our Dline is going to keep us in this game and will determine if we are successful or not. If that matchup can cause turnovers and field position, we'll win. If Luck is able to convert even with the heavy pressure he will get, we will lose.

Can't assess what we have at RB in Lamar Miller until he gets blocking in front of him.
Last week was an anomaly. Cleveland used a front the Oline said surprised us and destroyed the blocking scheme we had installed for the game. Plainly put, we have the talent we need on the Oline to at least be average, imo. We got out-coached in the trenches that day because it was the Cleveland DC's 1st game with them (reg season) and no one knew what he'd unveil. From here on out, we can actually scout the looks we will get, meaning our OL will practice the right blocking scheme for what we actually end up seeing on Sunday.
Today Lamar goes for close to 100 yards. -

I found myself last week thinking..... O.K. what can go wrong now? So many times we have been in those types of games and some how managed defeat. Just got to try to remain confident and not get too high or too low. This is a big game for the Phins and National Exposure should they win. Home opener will be so electric if we show up with 2 wins on the road to start the season. Lets Go Phins!

A small part of me hopes that Miller doesn't break out yet so that I can steal him in my fantasy league. But I always want what's best for my Dolphins over what's best for my fantasy team, so I'm by far more hopeful that he does breakout. Although I'm not sure if he will. I'm not sure if we wouldn't best off coming out and throwing like 20 straight passes to start the game. I remember the Pats doing that one game when their pass offense was much stronger than their run game. Of course, they were brilliantly using their strength while we would have an insurmountable liability. :no: Every time the DB gives Wallace a 9 yard cushion, just hit him on a hitch. I want RT to have that flexibility.
