I think we all know that this loss cannot possibly rest on the shoulders of Adam "the messiah" Gase.
In all honesty, if we do not give him the powertrain warranty of chances (10 years or 100,000 yards given up on defense), there is no possible ay that we could ever truly assess him.
So lets start firing up the ole excuse wagon. Don't worry about rehashing old excuses. These bad boys don't expire.
Have fun with it guys, maybe make a top ten list. I think we all know things are turning around quickly.

it was the full moons fault last night!!!!!
it was because Paul Wall was on the pre game!!!!
gase didn't tie his shoes in the correct order!!!!
RT was not eating sunflower seeds on the sideline!!!

Ryan Tannehill being hurt
All the injuries piling up
Cocaine can't be snorted in the afternoon anymore
People miss the feeling of being bullied
Still practicing too much out in the sun -
Some people on here enjoy the misery of losing more than they enjoy the pleasure of winning.

I would way rather be talking chit about how good we are?MAFishFan likes this. -
At various points of the year every single unit on this team has performed at a high level. (QB, arB, WR/TE,OL,DL,LB,DB and special teams). And at other points in time each unit has failed.
What that tells me is that we have the players and the schemes to be a very good team, but the inconsistency of effort/performance and lack of sdisciplinenis what is holding the team back.
In years 1 and 2 inconsistency of effort/performance can be attributed to new coaches, new schemes, acquisition of players who fit your scheme, weeding out players who don’t etc.
The fact it is still occurring in year 3 points to a serious problem.
We see the Patriots struggle early almost every year as new players/coaches get exposed to their system, but it’s usually all figured out again by week 5. We aren’t in week 5 we’re in year 3 and this shouldn’t be happening.FinsPensFan, ripper1961 and Surfs Up 99 like this. -

It's pretty sad that potentially new members might come here and this is one of the recent threads they'd see. Had this place looked like this all those years ago when I joined, I likely wouldn't have bothered. Don't give me the excuses it's because we aren't good now, because we really weren't then either. When I joined this place (or it's former version anyways) Joey Harrington was our QB. At least try and be better than this.

I like your style Key! I used to think this site was full of super positive posters and anyone who thought different they labeled as a troll..I'm happy to see some of you coming around and see we are far from contenders at this point this year..PS i have no problem going to games if some uber fan here buys my ticket!

Congrats bro. -
You're not going to get an argument from most fans at this point. You wait for rock bottom. Good job, bro. -

Everyone wants the team to succeed, some wants the team to succeed so bad they start believing that the team has everything put together to win. That misguided hope has helped them go through a dolphins season ever since Lamar rushed for 200 in a dolphins playoff victory
-
I also know that our owner does not have a football background. He is a loyal guy with a business background. What it takes to be successful in real estate is not the same as what it takes to be successful in football. A loss like this will help him make the right decision. -

News flash- all Dolphin fans want to see the team win. It's the one and only requirement of being a fan of something. And if you have to come to a Dolphins forum to taunt Dolphins fans over a loss then there's clearly some other things lacking in your life.adamprez2003 likes this. -

I have lost faith in Tannehill ever being what we hoped. I have been a fan of this franchise for over 30 years now and seen a lot of coaches styles and changes over that time.
I never root against us when it matters. I want us to lose so Ross will be forced into doing something with this team an 8-8 9-7 record gives Ross the out to use excuses.
So your assumption that I have to be 100 fanboy 24/7 doesn’t carry weight with me or most of this fan base.
I want us to lose so we can get better. It’s that simple. -
So I think it's safe to root for us beating Buffalo even from your perspective.KeyFin likes this. -
If I remember correctly we blocked a punt against the Vikings to win a meaningless game I think 2014 and Ross decided right there to keep philbin.Result philbin lasted 3 or 4 games the following season.Click to expand...

When Stephen Ross announced that Joe Philbin would be back as Dolphins coach after the team’s dramatic 37-35 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, the news came as a shock to many on the outside. Ross had decided well before Sunday’s game that Philbin — whose team was formally eliminated from playoff contention even with Sunday’s win — would be back in 2015.Click to expand...texanphinatic likes this. -

I don't think Ross makes such spontaneous decisions btw.. he seems more like the exact opposite: long deliberations with a heavy dose of patience, which might be good for real estate but not (so far) for the Dolphins.Click to expand...
