You don't post the worst home record in franchise history, lose back to back home games to the Bills and Lions, regress every year 3 years in a row, and keep your job. It's time for Tony Sparano and Dan Henning to get the boot. I love Sparano. He's a fan as well as a coach, and I love that aspect about him. But this is not what this franchise needs. We used to be the pride of the NFL. It's time to start acting like it.

Its embarassing. Ross has to be on the phone tomorrow to Cowher.

To remake an offense, we need a offensive specialist. That's Gruden, not Cowher.

What you are witnessing is the results of the Parcells experiment. These are all his people and the master plan is his. Never has a supposed genius laid a bigger egg. May as well bring in Cowher and hand him all the power, because this season is in many ways more embarrassing than 1-15.

Richie Incognito played well, extremely well at C. He's also a good RG. He just can't pull so put him in a spot where you don't. That was one positive out of that game. So was the play of well **** my optimism is gonna just stop.

I'd prefer going through the 1-15 season to this... with all our expectations, this season was just a slap in the face. It's going to take a lot to get the fans' confidence in this team back. Ross has a lot of work to do.

It is time to blow the team up and start all over again. Especially on offense and the coaching staff. Today the defense also didn't appear to be up for the game. I guess they can be forgiven. Since they have been the only unit showing up most of this season. As far as Henne. After his play today. People can blame Henning all they want. But the fact is that Henne has not improved at all this season and he has shown in the losses at home to the Browns, Bills, and Lions that he is NOT the QB this team needs in the future. Today he was outplayed by a third string QB with a splint on his throwing hand. I now believe that the few supporters Henne has left on this forum are either his relatives, close personal friends or fans of other teams. Because there is no way true Dolphin fans could want this QB to be the future of the Dolphins organization. In fact I hope they cut him after the season. So he isn't even the back up next year. For the first time in quite a few years I stayed home today and watched the game. I had no interest in going to the game. I guess no one else did either. Since I offered my season tickets and parking pass to several of my friends for free and they all turned me down. Even my son-in-law and daughter stayed home and they couldn't give their tickets away. At this point I have no intention of renewing my season tickets for next year unless drastic changes are made to this team. First a new head coach needs to be hired. Next, either a trade or the first round draft pick will have to be used to find another QB. I will not continue to pay good money to be subjected to the terrible QB play of Henne any longer.

Why gut our entire offense, when our defense is pretty much set, and our offense/coaching staff are just a few pieces away from being a playoff team no question. That would literally set us about 3-4 seasons back.Pariah and Pandarilla like this. -

might be the solution at center if he is given more time to play the position. Jerry is another player that needs more time to develop. Other than Long, Incognito, and Jerry. Every other position on the offensive line needs to be replaced. Hartline would still be a good fourth receiver off the bench if the Dolphins can find a starter with speed to complement Marshall. Of course the biggest need on the entire offense is an upgrade at QB. Until this teams finds a QB who is much better than Henne. It doesn't really matter what other upgrades are made to the offense. Because as long as Henne is the QB of the Dolphins. This team is going nowhere.Aqua4Ever04 likes this. -
We have lots of talented players...they just don't happen to be quarterbacks or safeties.
What we lack are talented coaches. We have one.
But yes, Tony is gone, and so is Henning thank God. Henne will be back but he'll have competition and we may make a move for a new starting QB if we can. I think Ronnie and Ricky are both done. -
I don't want to see Gruden here. We already gave Denver 2 seconds for Marshall and I don't want to lose our 1st rounder for Tebow.

Can Marshall ever get yards after a catch..... Talk about an over rated guy.
Stunk it up getting out of the break on the double move today otherwise that is a TD.
Henne throws it to the spot and Brandon can't get there. With all we paid for this guy the production has been mediocre.
He is an over paid possession WR at best. -

Nolan is the only coach on this team who knows how to adapt. -
Those of you clambering for Sparano to be gone have to look at the big picture. First off, getting rid of Sparano most likely means getting rid of Nolan. Nolan probably won't be willing to stay as DC for most coaches in the NFL, and he probably won't be too happy about not being considered for the HC if it were to open up either.
We do need to get rid of Henning though, that's a must.
Henne? Draft anew qb, see if Henne can improve. Go from there.
IMO Henne and Sparano should stay.Bpk, mf52dolphin and Colorado Dolfan like this. -

You have to roll the dice on that one and gamble IMO -
bull**** you would. We were an inept team that deserved no respect. At least this year we show up in some fashion every weekend. No way I'd believe you'd prefer getting the puss kicked out of us every weekend to how we're playing now.

We need offensive help not defensive. We have a system set in place for our young defensive players, they need to stick to it.

Parcells chose Ireland and while he is okay, he is clearly no Scott Pioli. -

The big question is whether Nolan would decide to stay if there is a coaching change. Nolan only came to Miami because of Parcells and Sparano. He would definitely have opportunies to coach elsewhere in the NFL. He left the Broncos because he didn't get along with the headcoach in Denver. If Gruden were to be hired. It is not known at this time what kind of relationship he and Nolan have already developed over the years. Or whether or they would even want to work together. So firing Sparano doesn't mean that Nolan will decide to stick around. Even if Ross would want him to stay on as the defensive coordinator. -
