So with JT coming back to Miami next week I ask the question. Do you Boo Jason when he comes onto the field. Not after a sack should he happen to get one or a tackle. Just when they announce his name as he runs onto the field. Do you boo or not??
I personally would be one of the loudest boo's in the stadium if I were able to make it to the game.

Oh ****... Thought it was hypothetical. I voted no... Taylor wanted to be here and our FO said no. Jets were the only team who wanted him and he took it.

Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?
Not enough choices... I won't boo him, but I sure as hell won't cheer for him. Deathly cold silence is all he gets as a Jet.
Once he retires as a Dolphin, I'll welcome him back... but not until then...unluckyluciano, dolfan32323, gunn34 and 1 other person like this. -
He went to the hated Jets. Traitor in my book. Where Zach Thomas refused to sign with a hated rival, JT jumped straight to them. He is a JET now. That's all that matters and I hate everything about them. When he retires - a Dolphin - then I will like him again. Until then, I hope we run the ball down his freakin' traitor throat.

I would boo Jesus Christ if he showed up wearing a Jet Jersey.
Taylor is not a Dolphin.

Won't boo.
Dolphins cast him off. He had one offer, and it was from the Jets. Not sure what else he was supposed to do.
Zach had options. Jason only had one. If Zach's only offer came from the Pats, I think he'd have ended up taking it.unluckyluciano, dolfan7171, gunn34 and 2 others like this. -
We can boo him during the game. During player introductions I say no, that would be classless. Even some Jets fans cheered Pennington in 2008. He played hard here for a bunch of years, but he's older now and the Dolphins did not want him back, they have exciting young players, so he signed with the only team that offered.
Ironically, he sealed the win for the Jets by sacking Brady. He can still do that, so we have to watch for that.DHPVW likes this. -
Well, I'd probably offer up a half hearted Boo Hiss.

The Jets = Satan
Jason Taylor = Sold his soul
He wasnt traded he was a free agent.
He saw the opportunities for his future so called wannabe acting career and he took it.

In my heart, he will always be a Dolphin. But I disregard my heart and think with my balls during the regular season. He'll get his Phin love after the season is done.

We could just have a moment of silence for his career as a Dolphin as well as the chances of him making our ring of honor.
Let the Jets induct him into their ring of vomit.DolfanJake likes this. -
Boo who?
Don't know whom you speak of... -

How can you boo anyone who asked to accept less money than our division rivals offered to remain a Fin?
If a player asks to be traded (like Porter), boo his butt until your voice becomes hoarse. If Miami kicks him out or trades him just for the heck of it (Taylor, Thomas, Welker, etc) cheer the guy and let him know that you respect what he did while he was here.
Jason Taylor deserves nothing but praise, to the point where if the unimaginable nightmare of the Jets winning the division happens (I hate even thinking it....God I hate the Jets), I'd secretly root for NY in the playoffs just because he is on the team. -
I'll do both. Applause when he first comes out. Boos during the game!
-
I believe Jason Taylor was offered a contract on a paper napkin and he didn't like the offer. At least that's what I heard.

Parcells offered JT an offer on a post-it note without saying a word, and when JT told him to negotiate with his agent, Parcells took the offer off the table.
I don't care how much the offer was, thats a dick move to do to any player, let alone one who has been the face of the franchise for over a decade and will probably be inducted into the hall of fame when his career is all said and done.dolphindebby and rafael like this. -

I won't boo him. I won't cheer him (mainly because living on the west coast, it will be sort of odd to see me do either at the bar for a game between eastern rivals). But JT is a Dolphin. Always will be. The guy deserves our respect and he has literally taken years off of his life to play this game that we all love to watch.
No boos from me. Too many amazing memories for me to boo. Of course, if he sacks Henne and blows up Jake Long, all bets are off and all children within a 50 mile radius should cover their ears.
Or if he signs with the Celtics. Then he gets booed for life, even while taking a dump. -

I boo all Jet players. But how am I going to boo JT with throw up in my mouth when his name is called?
DolfanJake likes this. -
I would have to cheer him as a sign of respect for many great years as a Dolphin. Its not the same a rooting for him in the game and I hope he sucks the sack Sunday night. I hate seeing him in a ****ty Jet uniform but he is in an exclusive club and wasn't ready to leave. If he had stayed here I wonder if he would have fit in with the direction they are headed. Then everyone would have been hating on him if he was sucking here.
-
Pats took withdrew the offer so we could straight up trade (we got an extra 7th out of the deal) and they reworked his contract to something much smaller than what they originally had offered.
It's his comments after we traded him that I hate him for. Welker can go **** himself. I hope he never gets a ring. Two Tacos likes this. -
LeBetard had JT on either last week or the week before, and when asked about leaving the Phins JT sounded audibly sad and depressed. They asked him if Parcells had stepped down at the beggining of the off-season, would he be a dolphin , he said something to the effect of " Well i had a good relationship with Sporano, i think i had a good one with Ireland too, so make of that what you will".
