In two days the Tokyo Game Show starts. It runs from October 9th - October 13th. From initial impressions the company to be watching at this will be sony. With a total of 14 unannounced titles between their platforms.

Bungie announcement at Tokyo Game Show 2008

Bungie is set to make a major announcement at this year's Tokyo Game Show which kicks off with Microsoft's keynote tomorrow, the rather cheesily entitled "A Canvas for the World."

Xbox Live boss John Schappert will kick off the Tokyo Game Show 2008 fun and games at the Makuhari Messe tomorrow at 4am (UK time) and rest assured TechRadar will have our team on the ground to bring you all the important news as it happens.

No Sony Conference this year at TGS

Good in just two as the result was lol. Nintendo will not be there and Sony will not conference. Basically everyone leaves the field open to Microsoft before the holiday season, is something that I freelance not there.

Splatterhouse returns (never played it but know its a old title)

The trailer was quite brief, starting off with shots of the interior of a real, dilapidated warehouse. Close-ups of various bloodstained sharp instruments lined up on a dirty work bench were shown one after another, with a female voice-over pleading for help and saying that was someone was out to kill her. As the camera slowly moves along the bench, it stops onto a large piece of 2x4 wood with several protruding nails, which fans of the Splatterhouse series will recognise as protagonist Rick's most oft-used tool of pain. We can also surmise that the female voice is that of the character of Jennifer, Rick's girlfriend, who was kidnapped in the original arcade game.

Resident Evil 5 Co-op Hands-On

We started out armed with a pistol and a machine gun, while Chris was armed with a handgun and a rifle. All the weapons proved to be handy though, this being an RE game, ammo is never as plentiful as it needs to be. After dealing with the first pack of zombies, Chris and Sheva split up for the first time, with Sheva taking the roof of a building to provide covering fire while Chris made his way deeper into the level. Providing cover isn't a walk in the park, because as soon as Sheva is spotted by the enemy, she becomes just as enticing a target as Chris. And if you think shambling zombies are scary by themselves, try shambling zombies firing flaming crossbow bolts at your head.
