It would be great news if Jordan is back to practice.

I'd prefer they let Jordan sit out as a precaution and see if they can get him some playing time in week 4.

Good to see Jerry back at RG, hope he kept the weight off during the injury. Would prefer to see a healthy Samuda competing for that spot too.

-
Hope Jerry re-earns the job at RG this year (and that he improves on last year).
-
Thank goodness Jerry is back. Hope its not rushed.

Not good. Jeff Darlington tweets that he's heard that Nate Garner hurt his shoulder "bad" on Monday.
On the other hand, John Jerry evidently has returned to toss his hat back in the ring for the job. Josh Samuda taking the 1st team reps though as I imagine they're going to work Jerry back in slowly. Samuda lives to fight another day. I'd still honestly like to see him run away with it in the game against the Texans. He will be challenged. He had a hand injury that happened on one of the very first plays of the Jags game and that could explain why he did poorly.Ronnie Bass, Bpk, eltos_lightfoot and 2 others like this. -
Tannehill to Keller is going to be ****ing lights out this year. Then guess what happens? Safety starts creeping, and Wallace hits the nitrous!!!!

This right guard position really turning out to be a problem and I don't think you can blame the John Jerry injury because I'm pretty sure they were hoping Jerry would be ousted.

They've got to actually get Thigpen chances to do that in preseason if they want him to be a factor that way in the season. Last preseason what was disturbing that way was much like Chris Hogan when real bullets were firing and bodies were flying all over, things getting physical, Marcus Thigpen didn't finish well as a receiver.

Hard to believe RG is such a problem when it should be the easiest position on the line to fill. Perhaps Louis will start working more soon.

I've seen him play Slot in the CFL, he can get it done, his short area quickness is top notch. -
To me, he makes our ST unit special, if we lose Carroll due to roster squeeze, and Trusnik or Spitler lose out to Robinson, and Sturgis beats out Carp, our ST unit will basically be brand new in a lot of ways.
ST is good for at least 2 wins a year, or making or missing the playoffs.Ohio Fanatic likes this. -
@JamesWalkerNFL: #Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill is doing some extra work with his receivers after practice.
@Phins_Phocus: Good practice for Tannehill and the offense. Wallace caught a 40 yard bomb and RT17's connection with Keller was on display. #Dolphins
@DrAstroZoom: Good to see @ryantannehill1 getting in extra work with receivers after a GOOD practice. Reinforce the positive and build rapport.
Good to hear.

Lol @ the John Jerry love... while I admit that he is a definite upgrade over Samadu, Garner, and Sick there. Jerry was nothing dominant there and many were wanting him replaced until we saw how bad the others were at the position.
Any news on when Louis is supposed to be back practicing?Bpk likes this. -

BarryJackson @flasportsbuzz 2m Dolphins OL Nate Garner had arthroscopic shoulder surgery and is expected to be out 2 to 3 weeks.

Essentially he's out until the season opener.

They've never changed the 'roster' as it were, JJ has been listed as the starter all along, even tho he's been out ?? I would like to see how Samuda progresses after spending some time on PS and a full NFL offseason of lifting to get his body more ready for this level... -
