Training Camp 8/14

@JamesWalkerNFL I'm curious to see if No. 3 overall pick Dion Jordan (shoulder) practices. No practice today may mean Jordan won't suit up vs. HOU.
@finsjesse Dion Jordan dressed and walking around. May very well be back to practice today.
@JamesWalkerNFL The #Dolphins make a roster move today. The team re-signed QB Aaron Corp.
@finsjesse Don't see Devlin today. Also, offense back in white jerseys. Thinking that's a laundry thing more than anything else.
It would be great news if Jordan is back to practice.
I'd prefer they let Jordan sit out as a precaution and see if they can get him some playing time in week 4.
testing
@JamesWalkerNFL INTERESTING development already at #Dolphins camp. John Jerry is practicing today and he's lining up as the starting RG in warmups.
@chrisperk 5m QB Pat Devlin, RG Nate Garner, DT Randy Starks not at practice. Starks absence expected, not sure about others.
Nice to see John Jerry back. We need all the O-Line help we can get.

Looks like he's still sitting out.
@AdamHBeasley Dion Jordan was here to warm up, then apparently has left the bubble because we don’t see him now.
Good to see Jerry back at RG, hope he kept the weight off during the injury. Would prefer to see a healthy Samuda competing for that spot too.

I heard (from sources) Garner hurt his shoulder bad on Monday. Out indefinitely. RT @apoupartFins: No sign of Nate Garner at practice
Wow, our RG's are getting knicked this TC.
Hope Jerry re-earns the job at RG this year (and that he improves on last year).

@flasportsbuzz Tannehill looks very very good today. Just aced two minute drill including 50 yard td to keller and another td throw to clay
@JamesWalkerNFL So far I've seen a deep ball, several seam passes and a nice back-shoulder throw from Ryan Tannehill. He can make all the throws. #Dolphins
@JamesWalkerNFL #Dolphins rookie CB Will Davis nearly makes a leaping INT covering McNutt. Davis stays around the FB and is starting to win more and more.
Some good things happening.

tired of getting my hopes up for Nate Garner every year. at this point, IMO, we should cut him and just develop Samuda and Thomas to be our backups this year.
testing
Sweet. Hoping to see ALOT of Will Davis in the next few games.
Not good. Jeff Darlington tweets that he's heard that Nate Garner hurt his shoulder "bad" on Monday.
On the other hand, John Jerry evidently has returned to toss his hat back in the ring for the job. Josh Samuda taking the 1st team reps though as I imagine they're going to work Jerry back in slowly. Samuda lives to fight another day. I'd still honestly like to see him run away with it in the game against the Texans. He will be challenged. He had a hand injury that happened on one of the very first plays of the Jags game and that could explain why he did poorly.

Excuse maker!!!!!!1!!!11!!!
Lol jk
Tannehill to Keller is going to be ****ing lights out this year. Then guess what happens? Safety starts creeping, and Wallace hits the nitrous!!!!

This right guard position really turning out to be a problem and I don't think you can blame the John Jerry injury because I'm pretty sure they were hoping Jerry would be ousted.

I expect him to have a 1k season Sick, I think THill is going to feed him the ball.
Love this...

Moore to Thigpen. Crossing pattern. Maybe 40 yds. Excellent acceleration by Thigpen.

They've got to actually get Thigpen chances to do that in preseason if they want him to be a factor that way in the season. Last preseason what was disturbing that way was much like Chris Hogan when real bullets were firing and bodies were flying all over, things getting physical, Marcus Thigpen didn't finish well as a receiver.

Hard to believe RG is such a problem when it should be the easiest position on the line to fill. Perhaps Louis will start working more soon.

Agreed, I'm a fan of what Thigpen can do, if the Staff is not a fan he is still in roster jeopardy.
I've seen him play Slot in the CFL, he can get it done, his short area quickness is top notch.

Even worse with Thigpen b/c he actually has talent.

I seem to recall last season Thigpen looked great in practice, but rarely played that preseason, which tells me the Staff just is not huge fans of his aside from ST coach Rizzi.
To me, he makes our ST unit special, if we lose Carroll due to roster squeeze, and Trusnik or Spitler lose out to Robinson, and Sturgis beats out Carp, our ST unit will basically be brand new in a lot of ways.
ST is good for at least 2 wins a year, or making or missing the playoffs.
@JamesWalkerNFL: #Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill is doing some extra work with his receivers after practice.
@Phins_Phocus: Good practice for Tannehill and the offense. Wallace caught a 40 yard bomb and RT17's connection with Keller was on display. #Dolphins
@DrAstroZoom: Good to see @ryantannehill1 getting in extra work with receivers after a GOOD practice. Reinforce the positive and build rapport.
Good to hear.

It doesn't look like he ever lost the job. It sounds to me as tho the staff had him pegged at RG before the injury and still do ??
