Oops.
I meant Chicago, but had Atlanta on the brain since we play them this weekend.
Sure, he can get better, no doubt about that.
He's saying all the right things.
Hopefully that's really his mentality and he keeps working on it.
He was pretty bad against Carolina.
I'm not big into player evaluation/breakdown etc. etc.
However, I watched that first half this morning specifically to watch Thomas and Turner.
There were at least 3 plays I can instantly recall where Turner completely whiffed on his man.
Like, it was Tyson Clabo bad.
There's a few others he was simply driven right back and overpowered.
Probably due to bad technique.
I can't tell you that much.
All I can say, is when I saw a broken play, I hit rewind, and watched it again along the OL to see what happened.
Turner, and Fox were the biggest culprits against Carolina.
That being said, there were also plays where Turner did a nice job.
Held his block, got to the next level on a run or two.
However, as I saw there were some pretty glaring terrible plays.
Also worth noting, Jawaun James, on the Tannehill option play...
what an nice display of downfield blocking.
