That might actually be a good thing, knowing his competitive nature, he’s going fight hard to go out with at least one more ring hopefully 2 - dare I say three peat and drop the mic!!

Pretty smart, actually. He knows Father Time is undefeated and doesn’t want to lose that extra gear that separates him (literally) from everyone else.

I'll say this, it's things like this that make me think that Tua is the guy. I don't think Tyreek would waste his alleged last three years on a team with a QB that he thought couldn't get it done.

I agree. A lot of free agents are whispering to Miami recently that they want to be here. Why? It's not just the weather or the taxes. The league sees us as a real contender in the immediate future....and I do too.

The Cheetah saying he wants to finish up in Miami is actually a very positive sign that we're heading in the right direction.

After winning 3 super bowls in a row, what else does Tyreek need to do in his career?

He may change his mind when he gets to the end of his contract, but I'm okay if he retires. Not that I don't absolutely love Tyreek on this team, he's worth everything we're paying him. But, if he does decide to play longer, I would not pay an aging speedster the big contract he's going to demand. Now, if he just wants to add a year onto his current contract, that works for me.

Three years in the NFL is a career for many players, and hopefully Tyreek would be leaving a year too soon versus a year too late. The window is the next 2-3 years for this team, so it times out well.

I just wish improving the OL was taken more seriously than it has so far.

Yeah, we'll see when 3 years is up. If he throws the towel in I'll commend him for it. Walking away is not an easy thing to do.
