..... and here's our hope for the next Zach Thomas, only bigger: Ben Boulware. Keep in mind this is his junior highlights.
His tackling ability & form are ridonkulous. Drives through the ball carrier. Rarely goes limp-legged upon impact. Kid must go through a tackling sled a month. Has some cement in his pads too. Instincts are tremendous. Feet seem directly tied to his eyes. Takes outstanding angles to consistently get clean, square shots on ball carriers. Decisive. Breaks down in space. Plays with anticipation. Flexible hips for a white guy. lol. Light footed. I love at the 1:22 mark he goes through the ref to make the tackle. :chuckle:

Both of these linebackers are playing in tomorrow's Under Armour All American game at 5pm.
The beastly looking Reuben Foster with legs like a redwood is the nation's #1 ILB recruit, but I gotta say, I think the less physically-statured Boulware looks like the ILB I'd want running our defense for a dozen years.

 

Compare Boulware to what Luke Kuechly looked like as a junior in high school. Light years ahead IMO.
