i was at sears and picked up RE5, should be fun. im not that hard to please. just give me a decent story and good graphics and im amused. BUT, they had a bargain bin sale..of 360 and ps3 games! kinda decent too. i picked up Kane and Lynch(ps3) for $15 and Guitar Hero aerosmith (360) for $15. they also had Haze, Heavenly Sword(which i already have) and Viking. i almost went with Viking, but didnt.

As for RE5, I highly recommend playing with some friends, either online or split-screen. I've played through it a ton already with various friends, but it's still got plenty of life left in it due to the coop elements. Most of the people who complain about the controls have bad things to say about RE4 too, so hopefully you had some experiences with that, otherwise just give it some time and you will surely get used to the gameplay style "Hit 'N' Run", rather than the cliched action gameplay of Run'N'Gun persistent in most other mainstream titles.
Have fun bro!Sethdaddy8 likes this. -
Interested to hear how Undisputed plays ... there hasn't been a good MMA game put out ever.

outside of that, everything else was weak imo. -

I'm 4-5 not. I'm a Boxing/Judo guy. I suck pretty bad. Just got KO'd in the 1st by a total loser.
Bionic Commando sucks ***.
Terminator Salvation seems like a great co-op rent. I'm on Chapter 4 of that. -
-
On a better note, Terminator Salvation has the coolest loading screens ever. And I'm officially 12-6 in UFC. -
6 losses in the UFC will get you sent packing...:tongue2:
-
Rampage Jackson has 7 losses

touche....but do you howl and wear a chain?

I'm not even into MMA and I'm completely hooked on UFC Undisputed. The mechanics are perfect. You need to practice all facets of the match to be successful. I was an excellent striker at first, but the CPU started taking me to the ground (where I'd be killed) so I started working that out too.
The physics based damage system is phenomenal. Lean into a hook or a mean kick, and best believe your fight is over. Seeing punches miss because of an animation that the other guy executed for doing a move is the coolest thing ever. The CPU is relentless and plays very much off your style. If you tend to throw a lot of jabs, it'll learn and counter it.
All in all, I think Fight Night Round 4 will have some competition. Few things are more satisfying that ground pounding the consciousness from someone with your forearm. -
hm i might have to check it out.

Best Buy has a sweet deal for the UFC game.
You can the game, a free 13.99 value DVD for UFC and 10 dollars of the next PPV for 60.00Motion and Vengeful Odin like this. -

Now I can track shipping on my broken box and a new game to play after it gets back.Big E likes this. -

Another offer out there right now is if you get the game from EB Games you can get two exclusive DL players for the game. One of them is Ryan Bader. IMO, the Best Buy deal is better.

So I've been doing a lot better since beefing up my ground game. Took out some big named guys (supposedly, like I said, I know nothing of MMA or UFC).
I finally got a title shot against Rampage Jackson last night!
PPV Main event! WOOT! 8 seconds into the first round, Rampage knocked me out cold with a single right hook to the head. Good night. -
