I got sniped twice today on Eternal Poison. I am going to have to not bid anymore today, I am too frustrated.

 

There are programs out there I believe that control and monitor bids for you .

Heard from a client of mine buying office equip for their new facility - not ebay, private auctions are a dime a dozen now with everyone closing down and stuff. Ther must be an app for ebay too though.

You guys should check it out. You will never be quicker than a bot.

 

i can't imagine that's legal. That or ebay hasn' learned about them yet.

 

There are definitely sniper programs on ebay. I've seen my friend use them.

 

if you used ebay like you were supposed to you wouldn't get sniped :) that's why it asks you to put in your max bid, if it wasn't your max bid you should have gone higher

 

You can still get sniped even if your max bid was in. if I am winning an auction for 6+ hours (with no change in current bid), and then within the last 5 secs get outbid, I consider that getting sniped.

 

yeah, just giving you guys a hard time. :tongue2: I think it's happened to all of us. The thing that makes me the most angry about it is if you are watching 2 auctions for the same thing that end at about the same time you can't set your max bid on both since winning them both would be worse than overpaying for one.

 

Depends if they are sealed. I have heard for example you can return un-opened receipt-less games to Wal-mart for store credit, but only 3 times a year. Not that I have ever done such a thing, it's just what I have heard.

 

Nice you will be busy for a while indeed. Personally I think it has some of the best graphics still on the PS3. :up:

I think the game looks and sounds great. My only complaint so far is the seemingly endless supply of bad guys I have to go through in order to get through an area. I mean, their treasure hunters right? Why would you travel with 60+ guys?

Well in all fairness would you really want to play a game with about 10 bad guys per level? :wink2:

Well, you only fight guys at like 3 different parts of each level/chapter. So face the normal 3-5 guys each time instead of 8 waves of 3-5 guys each time. It'd be the same, except far less tedious.
