What an EPIC first half.
How far does USC drop in the standings if the game stays like it is?
How much farther does OSU fall if it stays like it is? -

i can't get into college football but i love an underdog win. i love how they tip you off with the "1" in the corner. that's awesome.

i'm a blue hens fan because of location but that's about it. i love that flacco got drafted at 18 (who was picked higher than rich gannon, who also came out of DE). That's about my extent of college football. Who from delaware ends up in the pros -- and there are actually a few. A guy the dolphins had for a while (Byrne) was from DE... but he got cut :(. There's a player on the Browns who's from here, too..
it's a small state thing I guess. One of these days I'm going to go through rhode island just so I know what it's like for people to go through a small state. -
I WAS SO HAPPY IN THE FIRST HALF, MY BOY QUIZZ RODGERS SKEETED ALL OVER CUSHING HAHAHAHAHHA

The SEC is going to have a team in the NCG. The other is most likely going to be Missouri, Oklahoma, or USC.
USC is not out of it. They lost on the road and early in the season. We all know things will get crazy at the end of October and on.Motion likes this. -
This hurts USC much more than just a regular early schedule loss. They lost to a weak team in a very weak conference. Remember, 2 weeks ago, 4 Mountain West Teams beat 4 Pac-10 Teams. I see that as "No matter how well USC does in the Pac-10 this year, it is still just the Pac-10. The fact they already lost one inner-conference is gonna be very tough.
I think this really opens the door for Oklahoma, LSU, Texas and of course Florida -
Of course the BCS computers will spit out the real numbers, but this is what I see.
Pac-10 beat up on Pac-10
Other conferences beat up on Pac-10. :wink2: -
Did I mention I love College Football. :D -
By prop up I meant that it shows there is some competition going on there despite a bad week. Remember this isn't like the Big 10 having two teams that lost to 1-AA. The ACC, Big 10, and Big East all look like crap. The Pac 10 get a boost just by USC throttling OSU and OS standing up to them. However, prop up doesn't mean solid foundation.
Right now only two conferences are actually showing up this year. Which no matter how poorly they've started, leaves plenty of up side for at least one more conference and the Pac 10 just showed one of their mid level teams can compete with the #1 team in the country. That is all.azfinfanmang likes this. -
that said. Go Buckeyes!!! -

Soooo USC is allowed a "Bad game" vs Stanford but when they beat Ohio St and lose to Oregon St it hurts Ohio St :pity:
I know for a fact we have more talent than the Beavers, all it boils down to is coaching. Ohio St did nothing different, they were vanilla just like every big game, they don't switch it up. Props to Oregon St for their game plan. -

Sorry Gish. Just so used to YOU being the one sticking up for OSU... -

Deja vu? The last time U$C lost at Oregon State in a close shocker where OS had a huge lead, they pulled themselves all the way back to contend for the national championship only to be upset by UCLA. Well, they lost at Oregon State again in a close shocker where OS had a huge lead...
