Marlon Brown could be a big loss for them, with Jones out too they don't have a lot at WR opposite Torrey Smith. I had Brown as a WR3 in one of my fantasy teams, as thought he could see some success against Carroll.

I think this shows that the coaching staff feels this game is pretty big with them choosing to play Wake rather than let him have two weeks off and come back against Buffalo.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shelby starts to hold down the edge at RE. Vernon performed better in the third down packages as opposed to starting.

 

Agreed. I still wonder what the defense would look like if they put Odrick back at RDE and trained Dion Jordan to play that OLB spot currently occupied by Koa Misi. That's what I was envisioning when they first drafted Jordan, based on last year's defense.

 

Honestly we need to be done with Patterson after this season. The guy is good when healthy but that's a rarity when he is healthy.

Veteran guard like Watkins... I would have hoped he could step in this week.

I'll say this: if he doesn't show up by the game AFTER the bye week I don't expect him to ever be good for us... because why would it take so long?
