- The Niners being the extra cross conference game is somewhat brutal.
- I expect the AFC North games to all be winnable. (Oranges, Steelers and Ravens are on a downswing)
- Tua v Herbert 2: Electric Buggabo
- NFC North also features at least 3 teams that appear to be meh. 4 if Aaron Rodgers bolts.
- Is the book out on Mac Jones?

Obviously, its very early. We don't know what the Dolphins are going to look like next season, especially on offense.
That being said, I'm glad to be facing Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Cleveland and Minnesota at home. At JRS, those could all be winnable games, where on the road they would be a much bigger challenge. The Steelers will have a new QB, the Packers might, and the Vikings will have a new coaching staff.
Unfortunately, we have six road games that could potentially be cold weather - especially with the expanded schedule, so we're likely to have to face that. Hopefully we head to Chicago early, where they wouldn't be nearly as big of a problem in nice weather, and get Detroit and LA late. -
I honestly wouldn't even know where to start with that. I do think there's potential to win all 8 home games with the right coaching in place. Nobody scares me with the away games either...with the right coaching in place. But without knowing the direction this team is headed, it's impossible to predict.

The 2022 Miami Dolphins are going to be the next step in football evolution.
Owner Stephen Ross will have every player undergo bionic implants that increase every players’ strength and endurance 10 fold. Jaylen Waddle will reach a top speed of 45mph.
Tua Tagovailoa will be able to throw the ball from the seated position 100 yards and will set a single season record of 18,293 yards, 117 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The defense will record an astounding sack record of 417 sacks and allow no points to be scored during the season.
And even with all of that, the Dolphins will still miss the playoffs :tongue2:Dan S and Wilkimania like this. -
The next step in evolution for the Dolphins would be to start making the playoffs on a consistent basis. It's always the same story with this franchise: can't get the right HC and can't get the right QB. I really hope we luck into the right HC with whoever we hire. If we do, it certainly won't be because Ross and Grier "evaluated" correctly. Luck will have to be our friend for once.JJ_79 likes this. -
Offensively, we had Tannehill, Ajayi, Stills, Landry, Parker, Albert, Pouncy...the actual TALENT was there!
Defensively, we had Wake, Suh, Phillips, Grimes, McCain...the actual TALENT was there!
But what did we have at the helm? That moron Philbin with a bunch of NOBODIES as coordinators and position coaches, save Dan Campbell and Darren Rizzi. And further up the chain, we had a GM in Hickey who was in over his head and of course, Grier right there next to him with an absentee owner in Ross, living it up in Manhattan and flying in only for game days.
This team has demonstrated by the departures of players who have gone on to have GREAT careers elsewhere that personnel was never truly the issue. It's always been the choices in coaches and the dysfunctional front office that's held this team back. Until the top is fixed, its not going to matter...we're going to be stuck in mediocrity for years to come. -
Really?
Suh is a super bowl champion
Tannehill’s already been to the AFC Championship and this is his 3rd year in the playoffs
Anyone really going to dispute Wake’s greatness?
Albert was one of the premier OTs in the league when we signed him
No one can argue we didn’t have the TALENT.KeyFin likes this. -

On one side you argue our players weren’t great, implying they’re on better teams…then turn right around and say yes we had the talent to make the playoffs.
You can’t have this both ways -
Suh was great when we got him, not sure he has had a great career when he left. 2 or 3 teams since he left.
Tannehill is no where near great, but is on a great team.
Wake did nothing going to another team.
Albert did nothing great when he left.mlb1399 likes this.
