The standard description of aliens (grays) does, in fact, resemble what top evolutionary scientists believe humans may evolve into.

I don't believe they'd do anything to change timelines, though... That would be dumb.

Panspermia is an interesting theory. the thing is what could have hit Mars hard enough to jettison a large chunk of rock that would land on earth? And wouldn't we then have traces of martian soil in some impact crater somewhere?
