It really seems the football gods are smiling down on us. Even when there seems to be no reason to lose a game, we find a way. We fumble balls inside the red zone, we miss chip shot FGs, we throw fades to Hartline on the one, we misuse time outs worse than any other team, we go away from what was winning for us(replacing DT with Bush on that second to last drive when DT was running all over them).
To me this is the football gods saying that they will not allow us to mire in mediocrity. That we will not suffer another 7-9 season. No, fellow fans, the football gods are going to make sure we get the number one pick for Luck, that our Coach will be fired and we will reinvigorate this franchise with Andrew Luck as our franchise QB.
Ye all mighty football gods did the same thing with the Colts all those years back. They got Manning and the rest is history.
So celebrate this loss with me dolphin fans for it is one step closer to cleaning house and bringing in our franchise QB.
It is what the football gods want...........................................At least this is what im going to be telling myself all week to be able to sleep without drinking myself into oblivion

You're not really a Dolphins fan. Know how I know? Because you actually think we could get the #1 pick.
Any REAL Dolphins fan knows we'd find a way to be terrible enough to only get the second or third pick. Close, but not quite ****ty enough to get Lucky.

Not winning football games sucks. I don't see how that's smiling down in us.
Even Peyton Manning went 3-13 his first year. Cam Newton with the two best passing performances of all time was 0-2. We need more than Luck. We need DB's. We need LB's. We need OLineman. We need a TE. We need a HC. We need a lot.Ophinerated, Ozzy and BlameItOnTheHenne like this. -

Is our season in trouble? You bet it is...no doubt about it, but I will continue to watch the games on AFN or follow them on NFL.com if they're not being broadcast...I will continue to root for my Dolphins...I will continue to hope they win and I will NEVER be happy they've lost a game, get all excited and giddy that yet another loss means we're one step closer to firing our coaching staff and will never ever hope we get the number one draft pick ever again!!
Oh, and I'll make a bet with you...I'll bet you we DON'T draft Andrew Luck!!GreysonWinfield, MrClean and BlameItOnTheHenne like this. -

That's an interesting perspective

It's probably a moot point; Seattle is poised to lose 16 games this season, and as unethical as Pete Carroll is, if there's a close game he'll tank it.

Our beloved Miami Dolphins will dominate the NFL once again........soon enough. Once we get our legit QB, our offense will skyrocket and score 23+pts every game average......Brandon Marshall will be a stud again......etc.......
The worst thing that could happen to the Fins is to win 6 or 7 games again. -
its going to be a painful season.... because even though i know we are going to get sh*t stomped week in and week out i still have to watch my Fins. But i want redemption i want to see Sparano humiliated and fired. I wanna see Luck in a Dolphin Jersey and I wanna see Chucky coaching the Dolphins next year.
I just hope all this Luck hype is for the best lol! Would really suck if he ends up being a bust too! -
-
I would like Dolphins fans to feel the same way. Like how we felt in 1983 when this young gunslinger came onto the scene for the Dolphins. -

Indy could also find a way. The football gods would certainly kick the rest of us in the nuts and give them Luck after 13 years of Manning.
We have competition, fellas. -

No he'll trade down to get a mediocre pass rusher and then we draft a right tackle. Then we have trouble at LG after they cut Incognito and have huge problems trying to cover that.

He will be the next Erik Williams! :shifty: -

Speaking of drafting a mediocre pass rusher. Where the heck has Odrick been this season? I thought Kimbo stated Odrick was going to be the next great DL for the Dolphins. So far he seems to have made about as many plays in the last three games this season as he did last season when he was on injured reserve for all but one game. -

There are no football gods or they would strike down every ****bird who roots for their team to loose for a better pick.

I don't know about being blessed.
In Miami I see a team and a franchise that has lost it's way, at this point nearly completely. We have Jeckyll and Hyde at QB, a Fist Pumpin' Field Goal Lovin' Head Coach, and a GM who is more interested about the vocations of prospects mothers than a quality FS or reliable second TE.
I see a New York Jets team that stumbled today, but has been to back-to-back AFC Championship games.
I see an always-scary New England Patriots team that has started even stronger than before. Brady looks to be playing the best football of his career.
But most maddeningly of all, I see the Buffalo Bills - yes those Bills, the ones we all said were going to Cananda - buying into a system, rallying around Ryan Fitzpatrick, and are playing lights outs.
The Buffalo Bills are undefeated. My god the Bills are 3-0. -
They're not more talented than we are. It's just an issue of attitude and putting good players in.
Be honest with yourself how much has Colombo cost Miami? Why is John Jerry starting? -
