First late start of the year at 4:05.
All week this game has been hard to get a feel for. The Cardinals are a good team for sure, but I'm not sure HOW good yet. They are fast and disruptive on defense, and of course, they have one of the best receivers in the game in Larry Fitzgerald. They also have other guys on offense very capable of making plays.
In my opinion the key to this game is a lot like it was against the Jets. Be effective and protect the ball on offense, and get after Kevin Kolb and force him to make mistakes. Arizona has a shaky offensive line so it will be important to get pressure on Kolb and prevent him from getting comfortable.
Obviously, it would also be nice is Reggie Bush is able to play.
LET'S GO DOLPHINS!!!

Kolb hasn't thrown an INT yet.. We are due. 23-3 Dolphins. I know I stated before that we stand no chance. That will be a hostile environment.
See you at 4 pm Sunday. Now you make it tough to sleep with this thread. -

That stadium makes for a very pristine setting. Perfect for a back like Bush or Miller to put on a show.
I gotta admit, it should be fun watching Ryan Williams play as well. He's got to be the shiftiest back we've faced yet.
Fitzgerald is always fun to watch.
Arizona better be careful with these road warriors. Phins are healthy and annoyed from last week's loss.
I've been chuckling at all the accuracy articles this week on Tanne. This guy makes it more enjoyable to watch on Sundays. His focus is impressive. -

I would like for the game to not go into OT or to be decided in the last minute. Thank you.

What up home slices..
Watch closely for all rookies development.
See how hard team plays.
Jaws says the the cardinals and ray Hortons scheme is outstanding, maybe the best, they understand how to blitz, extremely disciplined..
Should be a fun watching RT go against it and if he can play faster . -
I will be pulling for the Dolphins, but I just don't see them having enough to defeat the Cardinals. Hopefully the Cardinals will be looking ahead or taking the Dolphins lightly. If the Cardinals are prepared for the game and they are ready to play their best ball. It will be a long day for the Dolphins and especially Tannehill.
I think it will be a close game for three quarters, but the Cardinals will prove to be too strong and will pull away in the fourth quarter. I see the final score 23-10 Cardinals, and I hope I am wrong. -
The Dolphins are 8-2 all time against the Cardinals. They won the first eight and lost the last two. The last victory @Arizona was Sept. 8 1996 by a score of 38-10. I fed all this info into my trustworthy crystal ball and came away with.....
DOLPHINS 27
CARDINALS 17

Well, let's see what we are made of, I'm hip deep in finance work so won't be in the chat very often today.

I'm not sure what to make of Kevin Kolb.

I'm wondering if I'm deluding myself or falling into the same trap people continually fall into as they bet against the Cardinals every week while they just keep winning and winning, but I'll be damned if there's not a lot going for Miami in this game.
Darnell Dockett being out is huge. That's a big time run defender and a guy that puts tons of pressure on the quarterback. Calais Campbell is a handful but he draws Jake Long and that's a big meet for the two of them. Jon Martin is our weakest link yet he draws O'Brien Schofield for the most part and I just don't know if that's going to end up being a big advantage for them.
They haven't met a run defense like ours, either. I know you want to chalk that up and say well they haven't been good at running the ball anyway, but when you have that kind of heavy advantage in a game it really can end up changing a game by putting pressure on the things that you ARE good at. Kevin Kolb throws up a lot of footballs that can be intercepted, like Mark Sanchez, and the Dolphins just got a taste a week ago on how to play against a player like that. Playing Kolb will be a lot like playing Sanchez in nearly every way and the secondary last week definitely adapted their style figuring that they can take advantage of Sanchez' errant throws and decisions. They were bullies with the ball in the air. They didn't have it quite down, though and that's why you saw Richard Marshall get his pass interference and also have a big catch on him, and that's why you saw Sean Smith get torched off Sanchez pump fakes by Chaz Schilens and Stephen Hill. Maybe after a week with a live fire game, they will have it down better.
I mean if it weren't for Arizona's impressive record of winning their last 7 home games and 10 of their last 12 games period, I would be all over Miami in this one. I've got Miami to cover but I can't pick them to win because I can't ignore the home record or the record the last 12 games. I think a big Larry Fitzgerald catch and/or Pat Peterson punt return will be the difference here.
But it wouldn't even surprise me if Miami decimated them by multiple touchdowns. That's the truth. -
I certainly hope not, but I have seen too many so called experts make predictions based on how two teams have played against each other in the past. As far as your crystal ball goes. I was hoping you would give us all the fantasy numbers the next time the jackpot got to over one hundred million dollars. :lol:Click to expand...RGF likes this.

The Jets are losing and the Pats are losing. In a rare occassion, I want the Pats to win but I think their good times are over with! If we beat the Cards we could be one game down in our division to the Bills or all tied up if the Bills lose!
Hopefully we see a lot of Bush and Miller and a lot less Thomas. And I think Anthony Armstrong is finally gonna make a much needed difference this week! Go Phins!! -
I'd rather see the Bills at the top than the Patsies.
Maybe this riivalry wil mean something again. -
