What are your plans for the game today?

Simple here, make some chili, BBQ some brauts, make some dip maybe a little booze...

 

Sounds fun, maybe chat on the Super Bowl thread that will spring up "here" or just chill out?

Champagne and Brauts just do not go together..

 

i got a beer maker for xmas.....my 5 gallons is all ready!!!!! so im going to get drunk off my own stuff, order some wings and pizza and hopefully enjoy a good game!

All my time here, never joined the Chat, just one of those things I guess.

 

Staying home for the first time I can remember. Going to have some pigs in the blanket, nacho's with the family and a few beers, I'm sure by half time it will be just me and my son, while my wife goes and reads a book, my one daughter goes to bed, and the other one goes and listens to her I-touch.

 

Having 5-7 people over to watch the game, eat some pizza/wings, shoot pool, and most likely drink a few too many, lol.

 

They know, my wife know's the sport, just would rather read a book. Kit isn't into football to much, but likes going to games. Erin will watch it hoping she can stay up late.

But I will have my feet up and enjoy it. Still don't know who I'm routing for.

 

That pasta from Pizza Hut is really good. But it'll be Domino's today, I was gonna do burgers and hot dogs on the grill, but I just don't feel like goin through all that work, lol.

 

I wouldn't think of calling them to place an order...but Pizza Hut does offer online ordering...you can place your order online and avoid the busy signal.

 

I just ate two hot dogs, I'm just warming up.:pointlol:

 

Oh yeah, online ordering is the way to go.

 

Making chilli, cheese dip, 7 layer dip, buffalo chicken dip, and guacamoli. Drinking beer. But I've started early, now I'm having a red bull and vodka. Trying to stay awake.

 

To early for me...but...soon...brauts with chili and some fresh garlic bread..

 

Kick off is in 3.5 hours..the alfredo is supposed to be good, the mac and cheese with bacon looks good as well.

 

I'm on beer 2!:lol:

Been a long day already, 8:00AM mass, 10:00AM took my daughter to HS softball batting practice, 12:00 noon ran a practice for my travel basketball team, so I figure I deserve to start early.

Now if I can only stay awake until the game ends:wink2:

Brought a few college and high school friends over. Split 50-50 in terms of who supports Cards or Steelers here. One of my ex-Sports Med interns got a text from Bruce Davis (current understudy of James Harrison) early in the morning. People flock to a 46" w/ surround sound of course. :up:

After the game, it's time to use that $50 CPK gift card.

 

Ordered a pizza and trying to stay up long enough to see the end - first time I've not taken the day off work next day so should be fun sleeping at my desk tomorrow!
