There are only a few I would give our #1 overall for right now:
1. Peyton Manning (no-brainer)
2. Tom Brady (no-brainer)
3. Carson Palmer - I think he is ALMOST in the top 2's category.
That's it for me man. Are there any QB's out there you would trade our #1 overall pick for?
Edit: I voted for '84 Marino, too.
What QB would you trade our #1 pick for? (multiple picks appreciated)

i would happily give that pick of ours to cleveland for brady quinn.
it would give us a chance to correct a horrible blunder made in last year's draft, and if you think about it, we still have the player chosen instead of quinn - ginn.
it would simply be as if quinn had re-entered the draft this year and we picked him.
and since quinn seems to have a somewhat-diminished value to cleveland because of the emergence of derek anderson, then despite the prevalent inherent value of a top qb prospect, we might get a little something extra from the browns for our trouble.
and no, i'm not down on beck nor am i giving up on him. it's simply that the value of the position vs. the players projected to be available in this draft make quinn look pretty good.
plus, what a terrible thing it would be to have two good young qb's on the roster, right? -
NaboCane, your logic is terrible since Quinn is unproven.
I'd fire off the picks for Peyton or Carson Palmer -
that, and the fact that every player that we might choose with that first overall pick would be unproven...and without the benefit of having spent a year learning in an nfl environment. -

Definitely Manning and maybe Romo. Yes, he is overhyped but he is young and I really like him, especially under pressure.
-
My other was to bring Vinny Testaverde down here.

what do u guys think the Browns are gonna do with Brady Quinn???? u have a 3rd year guy in Derek Anderson who is lighting up the field, and a rookie in Quinn....do u trade away a 3rd year proven guy in Derek Anderson and RISK Brady Quinn not playing well (like Matt Leinart), or do keep Anderson and try to trade away Quinn like they did with Frye.

Whoever wouldnt trade it for Manning, Brady, Palmer, Romo have rocks in their head.

I only said P.Manning and Brady. I didn't say the 84 Marino because I thought the poll should have been limited to current players.
On further review, though, I'd probably give it up for Palmer, too. Maybe Romo. -

Manning, Palmer, and 1984 Marino. I left out Brady because I believe he's the beneficiary of an offensive line that gives him an eternity to make decisions.

I put '84 Marino on there "tounge-in-cheek". After all, it is a multiple choice poll. No harm, no foul, right?
 -
Wow. That's a pretty huge list to trade the #1 overall pick in a draft for, IMHO. I wouldn't trade our first overall for any of those QB's (Big Ben coming the closest).
I was only allotted 10 slots for my poll or I would have included more. Hindsight 20/20, I would have dropped '84 Marino and added Big Ben. -
Having Marino on it is a waste, it was 1984
I would trade for Palmer, Peyton Manning or Brady with my #1
No way I trade my # 1 for Quinn, Matt L, Eli, I wouldn't trade a 3 for Young. -
Manning, Brady, Palmer and Dan vintage '84.
I think Romo is good but he's got a long way to go to be considered in the top tier (IMO, Quinn has not done anything, Leinart (a personal fave of mine) is hurt but I think he could make it to the top, Eli is too inconsistent for me and Vince Young is simply the most over rated athlete in professional sports (IMO).
