Been to a BUNCH of jazz (Trio was prob. my fave, but there are quite a few close 2nds), most of the r&b concerts I've been to have been gospel/r&b ones in churches...don't know if that counts. Hip-Hop/Rap I try to stay away from here in G'ville, as it seems every other one tends to have a fight break out sometime during the concert. Heck, I remember one time where a girl-friend invited me to go to a battle one night, and it ended up one wouldn't leave the stage and the other felt dissed, so they and their boys decided to open fire on each other and the crowd. It made me glad I was sick and not able to go. Also, if you're not with a sistah, (and sometimes even if you are), some of the dudes around here don't take too well to white guys bein' up in their club. Racism and animosity is still alive and well here in tha 'dirrty south'.

Used to worship them until they put two scabs in Ace & Peter's makeup and costumes. Then last month in an interview, Paul Stanley said that his days of touring are coming to a close, but he "still sees Kiss touring without him".

    WTF?

Now we'll pay to see what amounts to a touring Kiss tribute band? No thanks.

The Police were great last summer but this July I'm seeing Bruce Springsteen for the first time and I KNOW that will be amazing. Especially at Giants Stadium.

Back in 92' I got to see a concert for the ages!!

Skid Row - Slave to the Grind Tour with opening act PANTERA supporting their new record Vulgar Display of Power!!

That show was by far the best concert I've ever been too! Sebastian screaming his guts out and Dime's shrieking/crunching guitars! Doesn't get any better then that!

That sounds like a hell of a show. I saw Skid Row open for Ted Nugent, who opened for KISS. I wish I could have seen Pantera live at least once.

Yeah its ridiculous having Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in the makeup. I'd rather them just take it off and quit the tribute band crap. And its funny because meanwhile Ace is off touring and by the accounts I've heard is doing well. I'd just as soon pay to see Ace solo as I would the tribute band that is milking the international scene right now.

TOOL...seen 'em 7 times and it only gets better.

  9. So true. I don't know how I forgot them. I'm not a big fan, but their shows are unbelievable.
