I was hyped beyond belief for the Ravens game. A ten out of ten.
I'm gonna watch the game and am grateful for any football, knowing that soon, we're gonna have to wait 5 months for games. But my excitement level is about a four out of ten. You?

Non existent to be honest, my goal is to see our young QB keep playing well. That's about it
-
Don't care that there's a game today, it's over. At this point I wouldn't even dress the players that are valuable to us, a major injury in these last meaningless games would be tragic. But Philbin is going to try to save his job and so everyone is at risk.
-
1 out of 10.
I'll be checking on Matt Asiata's stats throughout the game, that is it. -
-
I'm pretty discouraged and not very excited about the game, but I am going to watch it. I'll be hoping to see some guys that haven't gotten snaps in the game. Tripp, Turner, Williams. Hazel, the new TE and any others. Even if we win not sure how excited I will be.
-
Maybe like a three.
-
Excited that a lose will be Philbin's last.
-
thought this was a gif thread..
Raven game was the apex game..
I just keep going back to the jet game last year, to lose to geno smith, at home, with everything on the line, and now the measuring stick game, the ravens at home, to lose both has me at a 7, because Im all about that offseason..lol -
2/10
-
I'm hyped to see if Tannehill can build on last weeks vertical passing success. Aikens, Matthews, Sheppard, auditioning for a job. Clay, Odrick want new deals. Hartline & Gibson need to show they still belong.
-
I'm more excited for what could potentially (by that I mean probably won't at all) happen on 12/29. I'm a 0/10 for today's game and my only hope is that there are no long-term injuries suffered by key players for next year.
-
About as excited as when one makes a farting noise by sticking out their tongue....
-
My excitement level was lost when our Defense disappeared off the face of the earth. I really am sick of finest football. Also I still had hope going into the New England game..I hate to say it but now Miami do not get fancy and win these last two games..I want us to lose the next two games so I can be assured that Philbin & Coyle are BOTH gone and it will also give us a much better draft pick in each round
-
Not as excited as I would be normally, but there are only 4 months of Miami Dolphins football and 16 games every season (since we can't get to the playoffs), I am going to try to enjoy every single one of them.

This is when I root more for the players I like. Seeing RT17 excel will be my main hope for the last 2 weeks.

Well I will watch the game but it is difficult to go another season with no hope for the playoffs.

I'm not excited at all. I didn't watch last week, wound up checking the score on my phone. At halftime I was regretting my decision, but by the 3rd I chuckled and was glad.
I won't be watching today. Maybe next week since its the jets and it'll be on local TV.
Gotta be honest - I'm rooting for a loss today. If Philbin wins these two games, we are gonna have all the weirdos come out of the woodwork talking about injuries and one game improvements and a bunch of other complete nonsense and Philbin may be kept.
I warn everyone, if we win out and Philbin is kept, we are gearing up for an 0-8 start next year. It happens all the time. Failed coach hangs on when he shouldn't and the wheels come off. Then tanneys fate is sealed and so is our next 2-3 years.
We need to lose and get failbin the hell out of here. Sorry but I'm actually hoping the vikings win decisively. That's why I won't be watching too, can't root against the phins when I'm actually watching. -
In all seriousness, as others have said, I'd like to see Ryan Tannehill finish the season strong. Especially considering how he finished the final 2 games last year, if he puts up 2 bad performances to finish off a questionable December, it will create questions about his ability to finish strong and may cause top coaching candidates to give pause before considering the job.
On the other hand - If he can light the world on fire these next 2 games then candidates would have to feel pretty good about taking over a team with a promising young QB. The media and everyone else tends to remember the most recent performances of a QB. That's why nobody talked much about RT in the offseason. They remembered the last 2 games and not how well he played the rest of the season. -
I was at the pats game last week and left by the 4th. Ive seen the dolphins lose 8 or so times at games and always stayed at the game. Last week felt like a stab in the heart, i dont even want to watch the game. I just hope tannehill continues to be our qb of the future and plays like it
-
i will watch, but until with philbin this team will never do anything special. thats always on my mind...
-
I have a tee off time at 8:30 am locale time. That will 1:30 pm eastern time. I have set my DVR to record the game and I plan on watching it only if the Dolphins win. I have no interest in watching it if the Dolphins lose to the Vikings. I will check the score when I get home from the golf course and see if the Dolphins won or not.
At this stage of the season, with the Dolphins having little chance of making the playoffs, my interest in this game is a 1 on a scale of 1-10.
My main concern now regarding the Dolphins is who the next head coach will be and who the Dolphins will select in the upcoming draft. -
Strictly analytical.
-
Honestly hoping we lose if that's what it takes to get a coaching change. Very depressed today.

I know it's not in our best interest to win, but I can't help but root when I see our colors on that field. I really have no control over those feelings.
-
You play to win. I want a winning season and I'll be cheering as hard as usual.
-
-
Me too. I know it won't matter but would rather be 9-7
