How about sadly a young man died, but in our country you need a compelling case and the ability to prove BEYOND a reasonable doubt that someone committed a particular crime. Innocent until proven guilty, and in this instance, Zimmerman was not proven guilty. Appeals to emotion do not make a case, you need substantial evidence.

The thing that amazes me, is that everyone of color just assumes that Trayvon was just an innocent kid walking home from the candy store. In Reality its been proven , he loved to fight , use illegal substances , was anything but a scholar in school and was recently suspended for illegal drug use. Mom even sent him away and it appears dad couldn't handle him either. But admitting that would take away from any claim of victimization and entitlement that black society seems to crave nowadays. Its been proven that Zimmerman is violent and breaks the law. Its also been proven he doesn't follow directions or rules. Its also been shown he is a very poor at his task of being on neighborhood watch. Calling the cops over 40 times and not one single arrest even though there were still plenty of break-ins. But if you want to talk about entitled brats who feel they should get away with anything, then you tell me, which one was the son of a wealthy judge who wasn't even charged in the shooting death of someone until all hell broke loose?

 

You can't tell how many break ins he might have prevented from being on watch. You can't seriously state that arrests are the only success neighborhood watch people can use as a rating? Seriously? The national NWP tells people to not be armed when on patrol and to not follow suspects. Prior to the that night, at an event conducted by the police with purpose to train people in proper NWP protocol, GZ was specifically told by a police officer to not follow someone. Those are both rules and directions. They were both not followed by GZ and they both lead to him shooting someone to death. He didn't walk, he ran.

And he still was arrested for resisting officer with violence and his ex had a restraining order against him because of domestic violence. He was also accused of molestation by a family member. But keep touting him as a pillar of society.

You believe the turning point of the incident is when GZ left his car despite a dispatcher suggesting "we don't need you to do that" . I believe it was when Tray attacked GM. Committing a Felony himself. Aggravated Battery. Again, the Sanford police have said, Tray would have been arrested had he not been killed. You have 2 people, only one actually committed a crime with an intent to harm.
