I thought this could be a fun discussion. Very simply, which player(s) would you take ahead of Tannehill. I'm trying to get a feel for Tannehill's value with you all. I'll make a list for you to pick from of "likely" first round players. I'm throwing out the obvious first three though since they are pretty much cemented in stone (Luck, RG3, Kalil):
WR Justin Blackmon
RB Trent Richardson
CB Morris Claiborne
DE Melvin Ingram
DL Fletcher Cox
LB Luke Kuechly
S Mark Barron
DE Quinton Coples
T Riley Reiff
DT Michael Brockers
CB Stephon Gilmore
WR Michael Floyd
CB Dre Kirkpatrick
DE Whitney Mercillus
DE Chandler Jones
WR Stephen Hill
G David Decastro
RB Doug Martin
LB Courtney Upshaw
T Cordy Glenn
DT Dontari Poe
TE Coby Fleener
DE Nick Perry
DE Shea McLellin
LB Dont'a Hightower
WR Kendall Wright
S Harrison Smith
T Jonathan Martin
Feel free to add others as you see fit. :shifty:

I think Andrew Luck is pretty good also. That is my analysis. You're welcome.

We need more juice on the offense or drafting Tannehill won't matter imo.

Tannehill is the x-factor for me. If they think they can develop him into a very good starter...with that skill set, they have to take him. If they do, I'll be very satisfied. If they pass, it wouldnt bother me one bit.
To play along i'll assume they like Tannehill and rate him high, but these are the the can't miss prospects they'd still draft ahead of him:
A-Claiborne/Richardson/Khalil should one slip
B-Keuchly

My favorite part is the post being about who you'd draft ahead of tannehill, in which atleast half respond with "tannehill"
there is a very good number of people on that list i'd like over tannehill.Paul 13 likes this. -

As above - add Luck & RG III to the list.
As to pure talent - BPA, here's who I'd draft ahead of him:
QB Luck
QB RG III
WR Justin Blackmon
RB Trent Richardson
CB Morris Claiborne
LB Luke Kuechly
S Mark Barron
CB Stephon Gilmore
WR Kendall Wright
DE Melvin Ingram
WR Michael Floyd

Only two guys for me, Blackmon and Claiborne. Yeah I know WR is kinda putting the cart before the horse, but Blackmon is special. And so is Claiborne. I doubt either one is there at 8. If they are, that means two teams ahead of 8 pulled surprises out of the bag.

Op, everyone you listed plus all second round options

Let me explain, if he's there for our 3rd round pick, sure take him.

My list is short and sweet:
CB Morris Claiborne
LB Luke Kuechly
T Riley Reiff
G David Decastro
Why no WR ... this is a great draft for wr types who fit in the WC offense, I would not waste an early pick on one when our needs simply not call for it.
As for QB if we can't have Luck or RGIII I'll just wait on Wilson or BJ Coleman in the 4th.Paul 13 likes this. -
