Panthers v New England.
Obviously a New England win would pretty much seal up the division for them BUT!!! a Patriots loss to the Panthers would only embolden the Phins next opponent.
It's one of those games where I sort of hope both teams lose somehow.

Panthers win no contest in my mind as to who I want to win this game.

Panthers, I cannot ever root for a Pats win except against the rotten, stinkin' Jests
(qualified with if it benefits the Dolphins then I root for the Jests)Kucha, Phins_Fan_87 and DeDolfan like this. -

Panthers, easy. When the Dolphins are involved in any type of playoff race, I always pull for NFC teams to beat AFC teams.
Also, we need to find wins for the Dolphins and losses for other divisional teams against similar opponents, because we probably have to catch up one on the Jets/Pats/Bills after giving away the Tampa game. All the other teams in our division probably beat the Bucs. We have to make that up somewhere. Hopefully, the Pats lose tonight, but the short week affects the Panthers, and the Dolphins take them in Miami.mbsinmisc likes this. -
I don't even understand why this is a question. Its like asking which would you rather have: a blow job or gingivitis?

I'll be rooting for the Pats to lose, but long term, if we were to be a WC team, New England would be better as the #2 seed than the #3 or #4. No way we go there and win in January. Maybe we have a shot in Indy or Cinci.

I could never root for the Patriot's, unless a win by them helped us get into the playoffs.

This is one of those games you think the Pats will lose, a young upstart team playing well at home. These are the type of games Brady takes to heart and actually starts getting angry at because most people think Carolina is going to win (like it is their God given right to win football games). Type of game where Brady scores on a QB delay from 5 yards out or so than proceeds to spike the ball a little harder while staring at the crowd.....ugh I have seen it all too often...
Pats by 16 tonight.....:pity:djphinfan likes this. -
I like to see the Panthers do well in the NFC. I hate the Patriots. No brainer for me.

You want the Panthers to win a tough, physical contest. With a win, you hope that they'll be flying high and ripe for a let-down game. If it's a hard-fought game, having 1 less day to recover could become a factor.

I have conceded the division so I'm not desperately rooting against the Patriots but not many situations where I'd be rooting for them anyway. I guess against the Jets and if they play someone we're fighting for the wildcard with.
I would have invited you and your son over Sick but already watching the game tonight with three Panthers fan as is. -

Well, seeing as I hope the Patriots lose every game they play this is an easy question...
What are you, a Pats fan? I hope the Patriots lose 100 to 3.
There is NO circumstance other than a game between two of our rivals in which one should hope any of them win. -
I'm rooting for the panthers tonight, no doubt about it

A very minor injury to cam Newton that forces him to miss next week

besides playoff seeding wins, were the patriots might need to beat somebody to help us.......there are only 2 games a year that i don't mind the patriots win and thats against the jets....other than that i hope they lose, lose and lose some more
